As noted above unless this it really happened it is a dumb thing to say. You have no obligation to answer any questions. But if you lie you can be charged. The Feds are actually trained to get someone to lie to them when they have no evidence. Then they charge them for the lie. Or they manufacture a supposed lie. Say nothing and record everything.

I was out about two weeks ago looking to bury some excess equipment until time as I may need it. The area that was intended for the concealment of said material is several hundred square miles in area.
I spent the whole day and have the night looking for a good location. Everywhere I excavated I came Cross stashes of similar equipment or the material meant to feed it. Either that or I came across other people with similar intent. I was really out in the boonies and must have come across two dozen people and a least thirty-five caches. The people I quickly distanced from and the caches were covered up and left as found.
A whole day wasted, miles covered, holes dug and to what end.
I finally hauled everything home, unloaded, put everything away, sat down and pored myself a big whiskey. What’s a guy to do? Why am I trying to hide what’s legal to own?
I’m now considering concealing one-thousand pounds of C-4 in the basement and rigging it for detonation. It may take out the whole neighborhood but it may give the goons pause to think before they try another illegal confiscation. Now I’m going to have to drives 85 miles and dig up my stash of C-4, unless someone else has found it.
