Well, it’s for my own good anyway.
I wouldn’t travel by common carrier at all; and that includes, air, rail, bus, water. If I’m going anywhere, it will be by car.
Ive been like that since november 2001.
I ask again, where does the T.S.A. get the authority to impose fines? I can see where they can turn you away at an airport. And Amtrak is funded by the Feds, so I can see where a Biden E.O. could reach there. But scheduled buses within a state? It appears they have backed down from the all public transit including ride sharing.

They will relieve you of that burden,by these fines and many, many other ways to come
How will the TSA collect fines after states arrest TSA agents for state-sponsored terrorism?
One way trips to Auschwitz? Star of David or Crosses required on clothing?
Boxcars and bars of wooden soap?
I’d like the know where TSA derives any authority to make an arrest much less levy fines for not wearing a mask. I don’t know of any law covered under any title in the United States Code that would make anyone subject to arrest or fine for refusing to wear a mask.
They are trying to say that not wearing a mask is circumventing the security screening. My guess is that it won’t be long before those fines are shutdown. The purpose of the regulations is about preventing terrorists from getting on aircraft or getting a device on an aircraft that could bring it down. TSA was never intended to enforce mask mandates.
Ditto. I’d decided long before covid that I’d set foot in my last airport.

Haven’t flown since 1996 and don’t miss it at all. Travel by road is so much better. We live in a very beautiful country as long as you stay away from the decaying cities.

President Trump should have dissolved the TSA.
“Exemptions include travelers under the age of 2, those with a disability who cannot wear a mask or cannot safely wear a mask because of the disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and those from whom a mask would create a risk to workplace health, safety, or job duty as determined by relevant workplace safety guidelines or federal regulations.”
And per the ADA and HIPPA, they can’t ask what the disability is.
Hearing impaired/deaf folks are disabled.
And there’s a lot of folks in that category.
This opens the door to a full on religious discrimination lawsuit.
Also Amish (unlikely to fly anyway) and Orthodox Christian clergy.
Donald Trump mentioned in his 2016 acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland something about reforming the TSA, but it never happened, unfortunately.
