COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Missouri lawmakers are advancing a bill to ban police from using federal laws to take away people’s guns.
The GOP-led House on Wednesday voted to give the bill initial approval.
A previous version would have officers from serving as Missouri police if they worked to enforce federal policy.

“The bill has gotten pushback from some law enforcement in the state.”
Well I am guessing those in the blue infested city areas....
Hey, nullification....It works for California.
[ I’ve considered leaving the Republican Party....but my Republicans are doing a great job ]
That TIME magazine article did it for me....
They openly admit to backstabbing the president..
Yep, popular every where else.
The kind of law enforcement that is rationalized to love antifa?
Yes and numerous states do not enforce marijuana laws. Oregon legalized possession of hard drugs such as cocaine and heroin. They are still schedule I drugs in Federal Law.
I hope all the Free States follow their example.
Nullification. An idea whose time has come - We like the Union, but will not accept unconstitutional edicts or mandates
Just make sure Fed.gov agents and deep state provocateurs are under control.
The blue-print of social street agitation, legal harassment, media provocation and political power grab is a highly refined one. It can happen to states, too.
I guess they can try nullifying federal law, and perhaps they will LEARN A LESSON in doing so...
...and that lesson being that the Democrats don’t walk away from insubordination and say ‘ah shucks’ or whatever - they will JAIL ANYONE who tries to defy their laws.
And the GOP response will be something like ‘oh, that’s not fair’...just before bending over.

There are not many republicans that can be trusted. Most are just as bad as the democrats.
Need about a dozen “red” states to follow suit...
First, protect the 2nd Amendment through nullification...
Then protect the 1st Amendment through nullification...
Also, establishing “real” voting laws and pass state laws nullifying any court decisions on voting would also be a small step towards reclaiming our freedom from our communist masters...
Or, simply choose to live with these massive chains for the next 11,999 months...
The choice is there...
Act or shut up and obey...
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
And if no express constitutional power is found for a federal law, including gun laws, then law is probably unconstitutional imo.
On the other hand, don’t get yourself thrown in jail because a judge or police officer is unfamiliar with the requirement that all federal laws must be based on constitutionally enumerated powers.
Also, note that former Arizona federal Representative John Shadegg had proposed an Enumerated Powers Act which would have obligated Congress to justify every bill with its constitutionally enumerated powers.
But the last that I heard is that the bill unsurprisingly wound up in the circular file.
I welcome this to come to Florida.
Florida one of the few states left run mostly by the sane.
Now Missouri needs to pass a law that would cause the arrest of any Federal agent who tries to enforce illegal laws.
Never trust the GOPee. Cowards, every one of them.
Why didn’t they sue the Trump bump stock ban, or did they?
Have you been to Missouri?
