Liberals only like the military when they can exploit the carnage of war or push some liberal agenda (homo, feminist, enviro) for their own political advantage.
The rest of the time they despise the military, since it’s a national institution (not globalist), macho (it’s a mans job), disciplined/structured, not on board with their drugs, and with an extreme rank system (not egalitarian). It’s just not philosophically lined up with libtard thinking. Of course the libtards would like to make the DoD more in their own image, but boy will that backfire if we ever get tangled up in a real conflict with a peer.
So...military personnel of all kinds, who more closely align with the values held by the founders of this country, are now “White Nationalists” and must be expunged from both military and civilian life?
We know the Left has always hated the military and bought into this lie, but now, for purely political reasons, are relentlessly trying to propagate it via government legislation, media, entertainment, and education to people who still believe those entities wouldn’t lie to them.
Is patriotism the same as white nationalism? That’s what it sounds like.
The hate for the military is palpable even in the woke Midwest.
In Minnecraponus, there is the view that anyone who has had any military background should not be allowed any participation in the political process, including voting.
Military service for people like “it” is an even more egregious insult to what the military stands for.
For people like “it”, John Kerry, and McCain, their military service means nothing but traitorous betrayal to me. It means far worse than nothing.
For the same reason, any Democrat or Leftist, even if they served at some point in any way, has invalidated any default respect I would wish to give them.
Like the despicable Tulsi Gabbard who some people fawn over, they have chosen a side, and that side is a domestic enemy of this Republic.

First off, using the term civilian, IMHO, goes directly toward a militia. If one becomes an LEO, at any level, they give up the label “civilian” in the course of their day job. But, coming from that clown I don’t expect anything more.
With some exceptions with regards to belt fed machine guns, armor assets with some type of heavy weaponry and air assets, todays law enforcement apparatus is just as well equipped, if not better in some cases, than anything the military has.
I know this topic can seem a bit scary/BS/loathsome/infuriating/bothersome to many, especially on here, but think about this...
Right now the SecDef wants a period with which to purge from the ranks of “extremists”. Who those people are, no one knows. But, I can tell you one thing. The “extremists” they’re talking about are, for the most part, the white males in the combat arms. Mostly the infantry guys.
Another retired General echoes the same sentiment, however he takes it a step further, wanting to regulate the clothes they wear and if they are wearing it, then they should be chaptered out of the military.
Right now Speier wants recruiters to look at the social media of recruits to determine their suitability.
So, at the end of the day, lets suppose they put these plans into place, who is going to make up the ranks of the “CIVILIAN NATIONAL SECURITY FORCE THAT’S JUST AS POWERFUL, JUST AS STRONG, JUST AS WELL-FUNDED”? It ain’t gonna be any of these guys. If you want to see who will be in those positions take a walk down to your local coffee shop, micro brewery or any other liberal hipster hangout. That’s who they plan on filling the ranks with. Ohhhh wait.....those folks don’t want to do it. They’re afraid of guns, aren’t they?
This whole thing is a real life version of The Hunger Games, without the actual competition(YET). Only, I don’t think their security force will be dressed up in white plastic uniforms.

From personal experience, there are far more racist black people than white people in the military.
Speir probably thinks military recruiters just sit at a desk all day and wait for people to come to them. 90% of ‘walk-ins’ aren’t eligible for a myriad of reasons.

It remains an issue among some people that by and large minorities are not volunteering at rates that the meddling classes would like them to. We are still drawing from a large pool of young men...and some women...raised with conservative values. This disturbs the left wing in this country.

I also wonder how the terms are defined. I believe when anyone uses the term “Nationalism” it means being patriotic. I have no idea what they mean by “white supremacist.”
