Vice President Kamala Harris cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate early Friday morning, confirming passage of President Joe Biden’s massive $1.9 trillions coronavirus relief plan.
The spending package passed at 5:35 a.m. after a full night of debate, pushed forward by Democrats looking to force through a budget reconciliation deal without the support of Republicans.

Another massive wealth transfer.
> When the system fails, they will demand nationalization of 401k, pensions... <
There has been some talk in Democrat circles of “converting” those retirement plans. By that, they mean you would be forced to transfer some - or maybe or all - of your holdings into long-term Treasury notes.
The money used to buy those notes could then be immediately spent by our friends in DC.
That would be illegal, right? Not so, say the idea’s backers. Because you would still have the same amount of money you had before. It would just be invested differently. And if you don’t like that, you could always withdraw your money, and pay all the associated taxes and penalties.
No matter how they spin it, it’s still a form of theft, cleverly disguised theft.
“...included a $15 an hour minimum wage hike”
There we go. Lot of 16 year old burger flippers gonna love that.”

Paying $20 a burger won’t be fun!
Say hello to kiosk fast food. Workers will be let go!
Blame the gop in ga. Enacting voting laws after trump got put out is a bit late.
For those that didn’t read the article, an amendment was passed to strike the minimum wage increase from the bill as it would cost jobs and close businesses during the pandemic.
If the house doesn’t demand it, it shouldn’t be included... for now
Silver and ammo, folks.
> Reread the article. there was agreement to not hike minimum wage during the pandemic. <
I saw that too. But I wonder who gets to declare when the pandemic is “over”.
thats what democrats do.
even “moderate” ones.
mino.. Moderate in name only.
They were interviewing a Virginia restaurant owner yesterday. He said his wait staff DO NOT want the $15 an hour minimum wage. Why? Because with tips they earn on average over $25 an hour. Of course, this tip pay is effort-based, not outcome-based.
Work harder, make more? Can’t have that!
Kamala’s always involved in screwing someone. It’s what hoes do.
This is why I don’t wear a mask in public and fight it every time I’m confronted. It’s what we all should be doing.
Walmart invoked a “masks required” policy. But people like my fought it at every turn and they abandoned the policy.
I was in Denver airport late last summer and I was the ONLY person there that was not wearing a mask. The ONLY ONE. And trust me, I was diligently looking for ANYONE else that wasn’t wearing one.
I look at our novermber election this way: The BEST CASE scenario is that it was stolen. If it wasn’t, and truly reflects the choice of the american people, we’re on the brink of civil war - as soon as the weather gets nice.
I am so glad we left Seattle for rural KY.
Sure would have been nice to have one of those GA senate seats to strangle this monster in its crib. Now we are at the mercy of that twink Joe Manchin actually doing the right thing.
>>Stolen elections *with no real fightback* have consequences.<<
Amen.
California And New York state Governors Celebrate!
With all the rino pukes, I’m surprised that it was even that close.
God bless Amerika.
The Mother of all Pork Bills
This "stimulus" bill is no different than the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 that Obama used after he won, to payback all of his democRAT supporters and donors. It was as phony then as this one is now.
It is the public theft of taxpayer monies transferred to the democRATS.
Might as well be called the Wealth Re-Distribution Bill.
Check his voting record, he always plays the middle and always votes with the Dems.
You usually seem pretty saavy about things so I never worry about you. I would say that thankfully the military is not going to let this get to civil war because that is where we would be headed. I’m hearing that they don’t want to openly announce until a majority of people will accept it. They are hoping to keep violence and collateral damage to a minimum. I truly believe this is not going to be allowed to go on much longer.
