Flu cases are down everywhere. That’s a good thing. What, exactly, is the benefit in denying the seriousness of Covid at this point? Covid is incredibly dangerous and we should not be opening up like its business as usual. We need to remain vigilant.

Large harm is being done by being shut down.
Businesses are being destroyed.
Lives are being destroyed.
Lives are being lost through procedures which are being delayed/denied.
I personally know of two people who have cancer, whose treatment is being delayed.
Suicides are up.
I have a close friend whose diagnosis and treatment has been repeatedly delayed, at times he was close to suicide because of the pain, depression, and uncertainty.
There is enormous harm being done by the lockdown.
