Congresswoman Liz Cheney is remaining in House Republican leadership after the vote to oust her from that role failed during a meeting late Wednesday.
According to early reports, the vote overwhelmingly favored Cheney — 145-61.

Yesterday it was revealed that AOC wasn’t even at the Capitol during the riot. She was in a different building altogether where there were no riots. She’s a liar — of course.

Yeah Gaetz and Steve Bannon are beginning to get on my nerves. Both promise the moon and end up looking like nothing more than shysters and media hogs.
Bannon is spouting pipe dreams about the Senate trial and “receipts,” and Donald Trump heroically taking on his accusers in the impeachment trial, and Gaetz defending him with all of the evidence that’s been accumulated about the fraudulent election.
Bannon and his War Room cronies are beginning to sound unhinged. Cheney didn’t survive a close vote, she won big. The establishment is still in charge.

Once again the we have the vote folks turn around and kick their constituents where it counts. For those with the delusional idea that the GOP are for conservatives, get your heads out of the sand. They’ve never been for we the people and never will be. All the old timers on this thread saying there cannot be a viable third party, open your eyes and watch as the GOP party burns itself down, alienating their former base on a daily basis. A third party is the only way short of violence to save this republic, if it’s even salvageable at this point.
I disagree. Kevin McCarthy needed to make an example of a RINO to try to keep the base. This is a BIG problem in this party. 75-80% of the party wants a certain action to be done and the elites decide nope! Not gonna do that....
Cheney tried to stage her own Lincoln Project / Never Trumper coup attempt with this second “impeachment”. Nobody is saying to remove her from Congress. Let her constituents do that. But, it has to be made known that if you are in a position of leadership, YOU DEFEND FELLOW PARTY MEMBERS! Or leave the party.
I have zero tolerance for a party that is going to allow leadership party members to break ranks and support another candidate for President only to be allowed back to that leadership position. What good comes of this?

How can we be sure about that? After all, it was a secret vote. Why was it secret? If the leadership RINOs wanted her in, all they had to say if the vote count was in her favor. As we have learned, it isn’t who votes, but who counts the votes.
So are progressive Democrats. And they're the ones who vote in primaries.

I disagree. Roughly 1/3 want action, 1/3 don’t care either way and 1/3 support the RINOs. And 99.9% of the donor class support the RINOs. Those are the odds we face.
Then there is no need to help them. The Republicans made inroads in House elections based on no small part their ability to demonize Ocasio-Cortez and make her and the Squad the face of the Democratic Party. In 2022 the Democrats will try and do the same for the Republicans but using Greene and her Q beliefs in every way possible. Time will tell how effective they are and what use they make of it.

Well, that at least names 145 enemies of humanity. Parasites. Give no money to any of them (i.e., no spine, no $$) and speak out against their cowardice at every opportunity.
Truer words were never said. When the motives don’t make plain sense on the surface, look for the money connection. Nine times out of 10, someone has gotten monetary gain, either personally or as part of an organization to whom their real loyalty lies.
