Mike Bloomberg has called on Joe Biden to stand up to the unions and tell teachers to 'suck it up' and return to schools as he slammed virtual learning as 'worse than a joke' and said the risk of contracting the virus is 'part of the job'.
The billionaire former New York City mayor told MSNBC Thursday it is a 'disgrace' that children from low-income families are unable to attend classroom learning across much of America, with many kids left with no access to devices, Wi-Fi or support to join online lessons.
His comments come as parents and lawmakers are pushing for schools to reopen.

Wake up, Little Mike, Trump was saying this some time ago.
Mr. Bloomberg is a fairly lousy human being and is way too interested in restricting our fundamental liberties. However, unlike his successor, he kept NYC from going down the toilet.
One cheer to him for stating the obvious, that kids need to have the opportunity to go to school.
You want the teachers back in school? Shut down down the payroll. No mo pay and no retroactive pay. Get your ass to class or do without.
What Mini Mike is really worried about: alternatives to publik skrewls getting a beachhead.
These selective shutdowns — where COVID is a life-threatening crisis in one location but not in the building next door — are utter nonsense and completely destroy the credibility of the government officials who impose them.
Teaching online is a joke bc we aren’t allowed to to make kids do anything.
Teaching hybrid is horrible as well. We went back this week with all the kids. It has been wonderful and they are so happy to be at school and I’m happy to have them back.
Hopefully this teaches both Republicans and Democrats that online learning is ridiculous.

I observed Bloomberg a little during his run for the presidency.
I didn't realize until I read the headline that Bloomberg had a functioning brain cell.
Mike should run for governor of NYS and show everybody how it’s done. Waiting, Waiting, Waiting....

At least doomberg gets one thing right.
Kids may as well be out to pasture instead of this virtual learning junk.
