(FOX) — Parler has terminated CEO John Matze, according to a memo Matze sent to staffers that has been obtained by Fox News.
“On January 29, 2021, the Parler board controlled by Rebekah Mercer decided to immediately terminate my position as CEO of Parler. I did not participate in this decision,” Matze wrote. “I understand that those who now control the company have made some communications to employees and other third parties that have unfortunately created confusion and prompted me to make this public statement.”

And if it was Matze's decision to use Amazon servers, the firing is justified.
The site has been down since early January. This guy seemed like an amateur. Maybe Bongino is happy and someone else will get the ball rolling
How do you know Bongino didn't initiate the dismissal? Matze was a textbook case on how to mismanage a tech crisis. There is a smart pathway to preserve damages without making the company look like it was run by NIMRODS.
His family had to move to an undisclosed location after being showered with death threats. Too bad Parler chose not to stand with him.

It was his complete lack of a crisis management strategy and the concurrent missing back-up environment plan that painted this guy as amateur hour.
There's nothing wrong with filling s3 buckets as your primary face; there is everything wrong with not having a Plan B.
