Not necessarily.
I read an opinion that since this Senate Impeachment trial violates Trump's rights as a Private Citizen, he can bring his case to the SCOTUS.
Bill of Attainder.
And THAT's where all the proofs and evidences regarding election fraud will come out.
Roberts would refuse to take the case for lack of standing. (sorry, just feeling sarcastic)
HAHAHAHAhahaha!! The courts...
"The court of public opinion" is the only place he can win the fraud argument. After what's already happened, you'd have to be extremely naïve to think otherwise. Once this is done, Trump will no longer have a platform to reach large a large public audience. Even if he did Rush's show again, it'd be an echo chamber. Where else can he go? Twitter? Facebook? Fox? Newsmax? I doubt anyone will provide a venue for him after the "Great Capitol Massacre of 2021".
The possibility that he "wins" this sham impeachment is irrelevant. What's the best outcome? That he can run again? Well, we've seen how that'll turn out if the fraud isn't addressed.
If he's not going to bring it up, he is better off just not showing up.
