That's how I feel watching all of these corporate TV ads disproportionally populated with black people, nearly all of whom are depicted as living in upscale neighborhoods and driving high-end cars. It would strike me as utterly phony pandering, treating me like an idiot or a child who can't see through it.

I really think there is something mentally "off" about most of the people who dominate the advertising industry.
