Germ warfare, you may have noticed, has a lot of potential. Cyber warfare will be devastating. An EMP over the Midwest became much more probable when China Joe reversed President Trump’s EO banning foreign entities from having access to our electrical grid.

Chinese government is a brutal straight jacket because Chinese society has a long history of falling apart under any kind of pressure.

You're assuming that history repeats itself, and that the Chinese have not progressed to the point that they are a new danger and have the weapons and will to take things a lot farther than in the past.

We can learn from the lessons of the past, but we can't assume that things will always be the same.

Apparently you don’t know much of Chinese history and the deep divisions of that society.

The “Chinese” are a once minority tribe who subjugated other tribes, imposing their language and culture on them.

The divisions between north and south, millet and rice cultures, Han and others such as Manchu, are still strong in China, and are the reason government repression is so common.

The relatively tiny CCP can’t risk anything that may loosen their iron grip on the different peoples of China.

History is important, but, the way a people behaved in the past is not an indication of what they'll do in the future. Learning from history is what's most important, and repeating the mistakes of the past is not a lesson which anybody with even just half a brain would want to do.

These is not the Chinese of the past, and those who are in charge are not about to make the same mistakes of the past.

I don’t know what you base your opinion on other than wishin’ and a hopin’.

I have personal knowledge of the current day hostility of the majority Han for the Manchu and Uygurs.

I don’t need that for the well established hostility of the Han for minorities like the Tibetans - history is enough in that case.

The Chinese government OF TODAY is on the march, and the history you refer to doesn't matter to them.

Uh yeah - the Chinese DID have ‘the bomb’ in 1979.

It also had MIG fighters capable of shooting down US fighters - which they did on a number of occasions when US fighters strayed into Chinese airspace.

Having the bomb, or a few of them, is not the same as being capable of delivering deadly blows to the enemy, and the mig fighter of old were not capable of fighting against the better U.S. fighters, and their navy was not capable of taking on the U.S. navy.

Shooting down a fighter is not the same as being capable of using them in a war. If the U.S. fighter was illegally in their air space, then, the U.S. fighter was not going to deploy their weapons.

Most of our nation, and certainly the highly paid bureaucrats in the swamp, do not realize the extent of the threat CCP-led China is to the US and the World. And now with Beijing Joe in charge the situation is very concerning.
