Reminds me of a story of the American economist who went to visit India in the 1960s to look at infrastructure projects. They took him out to a work site and saw 1000s of men with shovels digging a trench. The economist said “why do you have so many men doing what one man can do with a tractor?” to which the official said “you misunderstand. This isn’t a public works program. This is a jobs program”.

Might as well have them dig up land mines along Route 66.

The regime’s “black woman” is telling blacks and whites which jobs they WILL do. The regime controls every aspect of our lives through mandates and covid bombs. Soon we will be TOLD how many squares of toilet paper we can use for each dump we take.

Next president after 2022, then most likely elected president until 2032.

Good joke. Too bad she is too stupid to describe things accurately.

On a serious note, Paul McCartney and others contribute to a charity for victims of leftover landmines stepped on by children and adults in various war zones after the battles are over-—long over.

His wife had a foot amputated along with her lower shin when a police motorcycle jumped a curb and ran over her foot during a chase. She has sympathy for the children who play in a field and a mine blows up.

Yes they had those in the civil war.

https://www.history.com/news/8-unusual-civil-war-weapons

I can’t find one reference to any being used in WV. Most were deployed in the deep south. They were also called “toe poppers.” Heard that union troops despised land mines so much that they would put captured Confederates in front of their advance where mines were detected. Worked well as a deterrent as few mines were seen after doing that.

If a Civil War era land mine is found these days most bomb squads/ EOD units will most likely detonate them in place as an active one would probably be too unstable to safely handle.

Why are there so many landmines in WV anyway?

I think they’re left over from the Civil War.

Kamala is scheduled to go to Mars with Sheila Jackson Lee and study whether Guam will tip over with fellow Democrats.

I grew up in Alabama in coal mining country. I didn’t work in them, but I know all about them. Kamala Harris is a blooming idiot. For every 100 miners losing their job, maybe 1 will be retained to “reclaim” these mines. That job will take less than 2 years.

These people are literally dangerously stupid.

Is she not able to speak a complete understandable sentence? We think the guy she works for is stupid - she doesn’t even pretend to speak an intelligible sentence. Is she a boozer or just plain uneducated with a law degree? If she can point the way to some ABANDONED LAND MINES, tell her to lead the way and we’ll follow...to pick up her pieces!

In other words, it amounts to WHAT WE NEED TO DO, WHAT WE NEED TO DO, WHAT NEEDS TO GET DONE:

“”All of those skilled workers who are in the coal industry and transferring those skills to what we need to do in terms of reclaiming abandoned land mines””

“”What we need to do around plugging leaks from oil and gas wells, and transferring those important skills to the work that has yet to be done, and needs to get done.””

I would love to hear her explain just exactly what she meant with that gibberish.

What we have is morons running the show - think of “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid being hired to guard the payroll in Bolivia.
