American universities have morphed from institutes of higher education into cesspools of propaganda.
Heck many on this forum have echoed many of the cancel culture talking points.
Too them every Confederate Officer and solider was a (Democrat ) KKK Nazi/ Neo Nazi slave holder whom beat and raped their slaves, all day every day.
This is despite all the historical evidence saying other wise as well as despite all our warnings that went on unheard it’s all happening now.
We talked about Plato's Republic, if I recall, and it was a real discussion, not fluff. He remembered particular arguments. All stuff he learned as an undergrad in a required course.
I could already see at that time how far downhill American education had run even then.

That’s probably about right. Considering how little history is taught nowadays, there are fewer openings for history teachers.

I do not remember taking a history course in college. Got most of my history from self reading by the time I finished 8th grade.
With fewer honest history students/graduates, the remaining few will finally command higher speaking fees and appear to be near genius. Maybe a win!
I was considering that program at one time.
One thing I noticed with Norwich. If a student who happens to be a reservist gets called up on active duty, he either gets refunded the tuition if it is before the halfway point of the course, or he is tested on the material covered so far if it is past the halfway point. Very impressive alumni list as well.

Perhaps if one were to occasionally smack a Leftist on the nose. Not too hard, but enough to hurt and perhaps, bloody it.
Do this randomly, without warning, at widely spaced intervals. Eventually, the Leftist will get riled up and begin to consider the existence of evil and the need for self-defense in concrete rather than abstract terms.
Not that I would ever advocate violence....
