And apparently you’ve never seen the feral hood rats that these predator producing broodmares squirt out.
What would you have the cops do? Put their hands on her?
A nine year old with little self control could get in a fight with her peers and really cut someone. Happens all the time, and someone can get hurt trying to break up the fight.
Forget the nine-year-old. It was the mother who should’ve been tazed and shoved in the cop car.
They all failed her.
She’s an abused child, couldn’t they just see that? All they had to do is tell her they’d get her dad. Instead, they played control freaks and abused her more.
She was an upset kid who needed more than to be handcuffed and pepper sprayed. It’s for THIS kind of stuff that BLM uses - and makes you wonder if maybe they don’t have good reasons behind what they did in the beginning.
A police officer can subdue a 9 year old girl without using pepper spray. Thugs use violence to force compliance.
That kid doesn’t stand a chance in life.
She was a baby girl, terrified.
Unconscionable.
"I want my Dad," is a reasonable request from a minor. I applaud her for resisting getting into that car, without a responsible parent at her side to calm her fears.
Do you think the cops enjoyed that encounter? Cops hate these kind of mental health calls.
She was not going to cooperate, she had lost it. It is clear she was having a mental health crisis and was a danger to herself and others. What are they suppose to do? What would you do?
I am starting to think that perhaps there is some merit to the idea of having social workers respond to these kind of incidents and not LEO. I know the LEOs would be all for it.
They were arresting a black girl in a black neighborhood. With all the screaming the girl was doing, if some of the guys of the neighborhood decided to get involved, things could have gone south very quickly, which probably was what worried them.
The kid was under 5 feet based on video compared to the vehicle...
She was terrified and having a total meltdown as many 9-year-olds would......regardless of what the custodial parent said......
The cop was way over the line using pepper spray.......she was easily controlled, put her in the back of the car and close the doors......In cuffs then sprayed?
Spent some time as a LEO in a Sheriff Department, this was wrong...
It’s ironic how the entire patrol division showed up, yet during the year long coast to coast Democrat rioting, arson and looting, the cops were no where to be seen.
Very odd.
Don’t know as though it was a mental health thing. It seems like it was a custody dispute. The girl clearly wanted to live with her father and by the way the mother spoke to her I see why.
I am not in law enforcement but it seems like the officers should have arrested both parents first. If the kid is still acting up then either they need either sedatives or better restraints like a straight jacket.
