The CDC doesn’t make laws only recommendations so they can go f themselves.
Several decades ago a Congressman asked the Justice Department for a list of all rules and regulations requiring a prison sentence. These were not laws passed by Congress, or state legislatures but rules written by federal and state agencies.
The JD responded that there were so many that there was no practical way to discover or list them all. In Florida you can go to prison for catching a fish that’s too small, or the wrong type or out of season. You can go to prison for “disturbing” land tortoises, eagles and a host of other protected critters. (Last I looked eagles up to $15,000 and or a year in jail. Tortoises 10,000 and also a year in jail.) Many of these are already protected under federal rules and laws, but the state can arrest you to.
A friend got caught up in this after he found a dead alligator and decided to skin it. He posted photos on Facebook, was informed it was illegal. He then dumped the remains in a garbage bag and dumped it miles away. The garbage bag contained a receipt from a purchase he had made five hundred miles distant. Two investigators were assigned to the case and they spent a year hunting him down. (Was it the “Tale of Two Cities” where the inspector dedicates his career to finding someone who had stolen bread?) After a year and untold expense, they brought him to trial. He was initially sentenced to a fine, an offender intervention program ($1500) and 80 hours of community service. A family friend who was a lawyer, for trusts, not even crime, served on the board of some organization with the judge. She got it reduced to no fine and 40 hours. (Ain’t “justice” grand?)
My worst nightmare is to get tangled up in the legal system. It’s not about justice. It’s about money and statistics. The judge admitted to his fellow board member that the offender intervention program was as a result of the Obama Justice Department criticizing the state government because almost all of the people assigned to the intervention program were young black males. Obama’s DOJ thought that was racist and required more whites. The judge had been told to assign more whites. So, he assigned it to a 44 year old professional engineer who didn’t do drugs, had a security clearance and had never had an encounter with the law before.
I’m going to borrow that. Very clever.
What about regulating interstate commerce?
This is about as meaningful to me as a CDC mandate that I wear a mask while attending a Joe Biden speech.
“allowing individuals to lower masks...for communicating with a person who is hearing impaired”
How many deaf will the Biden Regime murder?
That’s a part of our problem where a bureaucracy can write laws and enforce them. The EPA is great for that.
This whole covid crap is getting to be so blown out of proportion I think it will wind up being a problem equal to or greater than the voter fraud. It was their tool to steel the election, now it’s their tool to show their power and flex muscle.
The so called vaccine is not a vaccine, but a DNA modifier that still allows us to get the virus, we still have to wear masks, we can still transmit the virus, and there are side effects that kill or last a life time.
I see a huge uprising coming, the net result is Trump will be way on top in terms of popularity.
Thought the same thing. Federal law can be declared by edict now?
Looks like legislation is obsolete.
Let’s disband Congress and save some money. Those clowns are getting paid for doing nothing. So, what else is new?
Do t take public transportation if you can.
“private ride-sharing services”
How do they have authority to control that?
Meanwhile, murder, destruction and theft by blm is glorified.
I never could understand how an outfit like the CDC can just MAKE a law and enforce it.. I thought laws had to come from the legislature..

Ummm yeah....how on Earth does that work? I don’t remember Congress voting on such a law.
From your lips to God's ear...
Seems to me that people willingly want government to own things instead of people. Seems to me that people willingly want government to control the things government owns. Do you see the problem? Or am I some old whack-job that believes in private ownership of property and that the free market is better than socialism?
The solution is simple. Downsize and eliminate government. Get government out of everything that can feasibly be done by the private sector. That includes medicine. That includes transportation.
...Unless your last name is Biden.
As an acquaintence put it, we’re being conditioned to blindly follow mandates from superiors and authority figures rather than laws passed through a legislative process. We will be _told._
The feasable solution, the pragmatic solution, is for conservatives to leave a democrat controlled city and it’s environs. Remaining is accepting the left wing philosophy.
Leaving is action. Staying nd complaining is accepting
That’s scary!
Does it include the mule train into the Grand Canyon?
People and mules, or just people?
Yep, they have no authority to wright federal criminal law.
