A few sick idiots, the occasional bum. Sometimes morons using power equipment or engines in dry areas.

But as a native Californian I know for a fact that plenty of fires start just by themselves. Always have. Hell, redwood trees NEED fires (which they can usually survive just fine, at least until we started suppressing wildfires) to reproduce. The ding-dongs who make everything a conspiracy don’t really know what they are talking about.

We had a lightning started fire just last year; no dirtbags or Jewish space lasers needed. And of course having power lines unburied, it really doesn’t take a lot to start a fire.

I agree with most of your take on things. Yes, those are
the ways a lot of those fires start. There however some
folks out there that get thrills out of two things. One,
they like fire. Two, they like seeing their ‘creations’
in the news.

In a region like Los Angeles, it only takes a few people
like these people to set a lot of fires. If you’ve got
five of these people out there and they just set two fires
each, that’s a major problem.

Let me remind you of John Orr. He was Glendale’s (my home
town) chief fire inspector. He got a kick out of setting
fires. For him and others like him, it’s an erotic event.

Read more about him at the link below. I had a number of
acquaintances who lost their homes in the College Hills
fire.

Note the number of fires this guy is credited with starting.
