Trump should hire a team of actors to stage a Marx Brothers style slapstick routine for his defense. That may be the only defense team worthy of the charges.

Totally agree. Having anyone show up legitimizes this farce. If he’s convicted the remedy is removal from office and guess what he’s already out.
What he should have done and it’s not to late is just announce he is running for president in 2024 and today is the start of the campaign.
