For a guy that seems interested in depopulating the planet, he sure seems worried about our well-being.

Gates (and his wife, or whoever actually wrote this screed) mixes REALITY and MAY in the same sentence.
Remember Men In Black, when Kay says "There's always an alien battle cruiser, or a Corellian death ray, or an intergalactic plague intended to wipe out life on this miserable little planet.. Well, the same sort of situation is true of life....there is ALWAYS some small chance of someing massive and bad happening...space boulders crashing into Earth, alien landings, solar flares, another Springsteen album. But mankind never lived preparing for those small probability events. You have to be AWARE of those low probability events, but you deal with the things most likely to occur.
What Gates et al want is to flip that mindset, because then WE aren't in control. Big Billy is in charge then. Sorry, not buying it.

Agree. They sure seem to value their lives. I guess they think their lives are more valuable than everyone else’s life.
But until you show me medical degree your opinions regarding pandemics mean absolutely *nothing* to me...or to any reasonably intelligent person.
