The rally in Washington’s Ellipse that preceded the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol was arranged and funded by a small group including a top Trump campaign fundraiser and donor facilitated by far-right show host Alex Jones.
Mr. Jones personally pledged more than $50,000 in seed money for a planned Jan. 6 event in exchange for a guaranteed “top speaking slot of his choice,” according to a funding document outlining a deal between his company and an early organizer for the event.
Mr. Jones also helped arrange for Julie Jenkins Fancelli, a prominent donor to the Trump campaign and heiress to the Publix Super Markets Inc. chain, to commit about $300,000 through a top fundraising official for former President Trump’s 2020 campaign, according to organizers. Her money paid for the lion’s share of the roughly $500,000 rally at the Ellipse where Mr. Trump spoke.
Another far-right activist and leader of the “Stop the Steal” movement, Ali Alexander, helped coordinate planning with Caroline Wren, a fundraising official who was paid by the Trump campaign for much of 2020 and who was tapped by Ms. Fancelli to organize and fund an event on her behalf, organizers said. On social media, Mr. Alexander had targeted Jan. 6 as a key date for supporters to gather in Washington to contest the 2020-election certification results. The week of the rally, he tweeted a flyer for the event saying: “DC becomes FORT TRUMP starting tomorrow on my orders!”
The Ellipse rally, at which President Trump urged supporters to march to the U.S. Capitol, was lawful and nonviolent. But it served as a jumping-off point for many supporters to head to the Capitol.

The Capitol riot began before Trump ended his speech. The rioters were already there. It’s more than a mile from the Ellipse to the Capitol, at least a brisk 20 minute walk.
I was near the Washington Monument during the speech, and walked down the mall toward the Capitol. (This means I had a head start over the folk even further away in the Ellipse.)
By the time my little group was near the Air and Space Museum, about 1/3 of a mile from the Capitol, there were already people swarming all over it, with banners and flags hanging from clearly out-of-bounds upper balconies. Binoculars gave us a very clear picture of events.
It would have been impossible for anybody from the Ellipse to have gotten there before us. The rioters were already there.
We stopped and stayed by the A&S Museum, seeing that the Capitol was already engulfed in a s#!t show, and no good would come of it.
I have yet to see anyone in congress address the fact that the real insurrection happened last summer when the anarchists climbed a fence and tried to get to the White House. The tried to burn down a church and assaulted capitol police. It was so dangerous the had to put a fence around the WH grounds so they couldn’t breach it. When Trump tried to call out the National Guard to regain order both sides of the aisle trashed him. This should be his first line of defense in my opinion.

And there’s plenty of evidence of agents provocateurs’ involvement in that. And perhaps even by Capitol Police allowing it to happen, opening doors.
Not saying no legitimate Trump supporters didn’t get involved and force their way inside. But there is plenty of evidence supporting the view this was a planned Reichstag Fire event.

So far as can be determined, the January 6th rally was perfectly legitimate, and the actual storming of the Capitol was related to the rally only by the timing of it.
The actual assault was prepared in a completely different venue, under a false flag, as a means to intimidate the members of Congress into a panic vote, to close off ALL challenges to the vote totals presented for each state’s electors, and let the rather lopsided results stand.
The vote count was neither legitimate nor supported by objective observations.
Once you get them riled up, it is EASY to stampede the buffalo herd off a cliff. Just takes a little steering to guide them on the path to destruction.
Funny how no reporter wants to cover how the rioters that planted pipe bombs the night before, that rioters that were beating on the Capital Cops before Trump even stopped talking, why the Capital cops let the riotors not only near the Capital, but into the Capital, name any ANTIFA & BLM members that infultrated the Capital, or mention hat the shooter was a BLM loyalist.
I think changing the rules of the election in their favor, stuffing the ballot boxes, and having Big Tech, Big Media, and Big Pharma, dragging NPC “Biden” across the finish line is the real INSURRECTION.

Rebecca Ballhaus is half German and was 9 when 9/11 happened. She was too young to vote for Obama in 2008.
