With the fraudulent 2020 election having been made official eight days ago, the vast majority of Trump-supporters believe there is no recourse. This is not true. The President and his team have a few different options. They’re all longshots as far as returning him to his rightful place in the Oval Office, but they can be used to get the evidence out to the people, evidence of voter fraud that has been suppressed.
If the Senate impeachment trial moves forward, these actions would also give him the opportunity to defend himself in ways the Senate itself will not present. We’ve discussed in-depth how a writ of quo warranto may be his best course of action. We will continue to explore this option until it’s no longer on the table or until it’s actually initiated. But there’s another course of action, a declaratory judgment action, that the President and his team can perform.
In an article meant to position a declaratory judgment action as superior to a writ of quo warranto, Mario Apuzzo, Esq. at ThePostEmail explained why he believes the former is the way to go. After reviewing the article and others, I’m convinced that there’s nothing prohibiting the President from pursuing both courses of action. He should. At this point, we need every legal option in play. They are not mutually exclusive, so why not pursue both?

I think this is the 20th or 30th time I’ve heard this and read this exact story
At this point we’ll see what happens
It’ll never happen. The impeachment committee will never allow a Trump defense, no witnesses, nothing.
It’s a kangaroo court.
I doubt that Leahy will even allow President Trump to enter his actual January 6th speech. Instead the Democrats will present a copy of Downfall with their interpretation of Trump’s speech in the subtitles.
More Bannon fantasy. No relevant evidence will be allowed in the Trump Monkey Trials.
That just isn’t going to happen no matter how you slice it.
Trump and the Republican need competent legal help which they do not appear to have.
You wanna bet on that?
Wishful thinking.
It is a show trial being held solely for the benefit of the democrats’ far left base. The democrats will not allow any evidence to be introduced that the democrats do not want introduced.
Impeachment trial going to be a Briar Rabbit event?
A quo warranto would not be introduced in the senate but in the US Court of Appeals for DC. This would be a separate matter from inciting insurrection (which never called for).
The Senate will vote not to allow testimony.
These thoughts are just a joke.
The democrats wont allow evidence of any kind at a trial. They impeached Trump in the House in about 20 minutes.
Agree !
Not really. They are already railroading things. They’ll give him no time for that.
I may be wrong but, as far as I’m concerned, the NOQ Report has been the only outlet out there touting this writ of quo warranto option. I have never heard Trump’s lawyers bring this up.
I don’t know. This may be an inaccurate (or even offensive) analogy, but I feel there are a lot of well-intentioned fellow patriots out there who are like the Germans in the closing days of World War II, anxiously expecting some “wonder weapon” that would turn the tide of the war in Germany’s favor. We’ve had our share of bombshells and Krakens that went nowhere.
Not even a kangaroo court. No REAL justice is to be present. Leahy, if he can be there, is NOT a real justice. This is essentially a Senate Hearing
The ‘rats will probably bring in some of the ANIFA/BLM guys who crashed the rally and get them to testify that they were told by Trump to go to the rally and start an insurrection ( or “erection”).
A quo warranto writ needs proof that the officeholder is not holding the office legally. Where it is?
This would be a separate matter from inciting insurrection (which never called for).
How can they charge Trump with inciting insurrection when they haven't charged any of the Capitol rioters with insurrection?
