What bothers me is that he and McCarthy met yesterday for what I understand was a strategy session. What’s up with that? McCarthy hates PDJT and betrayed him. What good can come of this?
He’d make better use of his time and money by spending one year helping swing stages clean up their elections. Have DeSantis mentor them; he was successful in FL.
Then spend the next year on candidate strategy with McCarthy or whatever devil he needs to dance with to get good candidates for 2022.
I see no viable path to win again, ever, unless elections are fair.
This would be the Republican Party, sans the Establishment Republican Party.. The latter is a minority wing of the DC UniParty.

I live in California. Used to have a friend here named Dale Reed. He was one of our Los Angeles chapter members.
The party in California is essentiall dead, but they do go through the motions.
Dale did just what you think I should have done, He got involved. In his day back in the seventies he and others worked very hard to get the right type of Conservative installed as the head of the party.
They were successful, but low and behold, the national party leadership reorganized the state leadership replacing the Conservative with a moderate.
In 2002 we had a Conservative candidate for governors out here. He received no help from the party in his run to be governor.
The Democrats brought out their national big guns for Gray Davis.
National dignitaries lwere seen supporting their guy. He was flying around
in a corporate jet, making stops across the state. Our guy had no funding.
He had a bus. The party leadership wasn’t interested in helping our guy at all.
Our guy had $2 million to run his campaign on. Gray Davis had around
$13 million.
Despite this Simon didn’t have a terrible showing. He just never had a chance.
So yeah, I may not have gotten involved with the party organization, but
Republican candidates all got my vote over the 50 years.
Two exceptions to that... I refused to vote for Bush the first time. I refused to vote for McCain.
I think I see the problem.

Trump has ZERO control over the GOP. Not a good move.
Call it the patriot party, call it the GOP. Whatever the future is of the competing party to the Democratic party moving forward, Trump now owns.
