Former Labour prime minister Tony Blair is pushing Boris Johnson to use British leadership of the G7 to create a global vaccine passport.
“The UK faces a choice: lead or be led,” insists a new report from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, established by the Iraq War architect after he stepped away from electoral politics.

There goes the travel business.
I am quite sure most African and Asian countries will reject this nonsense out of hand.

Considering how deeply the ChiComs now have their hooks onto Africa, I’m kinda doubting there will be much objecting...

Besides Al Gore, Tony Blair is perhaps the World’s foremost Global Warming alarmist. His job in life is to convince Governments do everything, at ALL COSTS, to stop Global Warming. He and Bill Gates have shown in their discussions and presentations that the only way to reduce global warming is to reduce the population. They and other elites want to reduce the global population down to 500,000,000.
Ask yourself. What good does a vaccine passport do for reducing global warming?

So we won’t police US Borders to keep out convicted murderers, but we will put in place a giant bureaucracy to track people who have been vaccinated against a disease
that has a 95%+ survivability rate?

I have lived and worked in quite a few African countries. And I know some of the African ruling class/leaders. I think most Americans don't really get what Africa is about.
African countries are not “owned” by anybody.
However, they will take free roads, free railways , free money etc from everybody, even if they are from Mars.
They'd be stupid not to. They think they are getting the better of the Chinese.
I remember back in the 60’s when there was all this alarmism in America about the “Soviet threat” in Africa. About the only country that actually tried to go full communist in Africa was Ethiopia with Mengistu, and he didn't last long.

Yes. After Samora Machel, who's wife then married Nelson Mandela.
As did Angola after Agostinho Neto died.
To: SmokingJoe
I thought even before Machel’s fatal plane crash, which by the way some suggest the Soviets engineered, he had turned his back on Marxism.

"So we won’t police US Borders to keep out convicted murderers, but we will put in place a giant bureaucracy to track people who have been vaccinated against a disease that has a 95%+ survivability rate?" Insane stupidity is the government's business model. After 9/11 America could have deported all of the radical muslims and made America perfectly safe to fly but the establishment decided to spend create the TSA to molest us at every airport for roughly $7 billion a year. The price tag for that is at about $150 billion since 2001.

Neither Machel nor Neto were full blown, hard core communists as such.
This is the deal, back then, they just wanted to kick the Portuguese colonialists the heck out of their countries(Mozambique and Angola). They wanted independence. And the only countries that were ready and willing to supply them weapons of war (mostly for free) were the communist countries.
The Soviets wanted something in return for all the “help” they were giving.
After they'd kicked the Portuguese out, Neto brought in Cuban troops (with the help of the Soviets) when it appeared Apartheid South Africa was going to invade.
Sometimes, you do what you gotta do to get to where you want to go it, even if it means sleeping with the communists. Look where sleeping with the "devil" has gotten Kamala Harris.
