Those aren't my figures. They're figures derived from post 54 in this thread. Most of the people "dying from other causes" are actually dying from Covid related complications. a handful of anecdotal reports of fraud do not erase 425,000 total deaths. let's say you can find 5,000 cases of fraud. That's a lot and probably way higher than reality but, even if you could find that many cases of fraud, there's still 400,000 dead Americans. BTW, Medicare offers rewards for reporting fraud. If you can find 5,000 cases, you'll make a fortune.
I was one of the first to point out back in February and March last year that the CDC’s own listing of deaths by various causes in the US had taken a nose dive for every other cause while deaths from Covid19 was suddenly skyrocketing.
The final data for 2020 hasn't been reported. They don't even have the final data for 2018 or 2019 reported. If you have some source that provides the final vital statistic data for 2020, please provide it. It would be useful.
There was a financial benefit for States, counties, and hospitals to do so... the Federal government had put in a spiff for every Covid19 patient being treated, an additional bonus for every Covid19 patient put in ICU on a Ventilator, and even more for every death reported.
Of course they're paid more. Treating a highly contagious disease like this costs more. Why wouldn't they be compensated more? Show me all the names of the doctors and hospital employees that have been arrested for Medicare fraud. You can't do it. Why? Because what you have here is an unsubstantiated allegation. It would basically be impossible to perpetrate the kind of widespread fraud you're alleging. Aside from the ample documentation that is available to support the diagnosis of Covid for every patient admitted into a hospital with Covid, Medicare fraud is rare and fraud on the level that you're alleging is unheard of. What's more I don't think they are paid more "for every death reported". I'd have to see some supporting evidence to buy that. They're paid more if they're admitted for Covid and if they end up intubated and on a ventilator. Some of these people are in the ICU for nearly a month or even over a month. Even with the 20% stipend, you're losing money there.
One in particular stuck in my mind. A motorcyclist in New York was hit by a red light runner, killed. They decided because he had been headed in the general direction of a hospital he had to have been headed to the emergency room so he MUST have been going there because he felt ill...with Covid19!

Here’s another Covid19 death... a businessman in Las Vegas, Nev, laid off all 23 of his employees, went home, shot himself. Death due to Covid19! Aha! Although he was not infected, determined to be due to Covid19 and so counted!

The fact is, RC one, that the EXPECTED total number of deaths per month, counting ALL causes of deaths in the USA, projected from the numbers adjusted from the previous three years without INCLUDING the unexpected pandemic of Covid19 was never exceeded during 2020 until the last two months of 2020 WHEN INCLUDING counting Covid19... and then only by about 1.5-2% which is within the normal range of variation during a year! This is the level we would expect with a particularly bad Flu year. This shows that there really is no extraordinary level of “pandemic” deaths over and above the normal level of deaths expected in a normal year for the USA.
PAY ATTENTION! It’s the government that has ORDERED the hospitals and state health departments to categorize these deaths as COVID19 deaths “fraudulently”. Dr. Birx admitted on air that if someone goes to a hospital complaining of Covid19 symptoms, but has heart issues, kidney issues, and dies, we are counting it as a COVID19 Death, while the rest of the world dies not!. They aren’t interested in finding the fraud when they are creating it as they go. Do you own research as I have over the past year and saw the discrepancies as they CHANGED THE DATA!
You don’t just suddenly have seasonal flu deaths drop to NOTHING in February/March, same for normal levels of diabetes and heart disease deaths dropping to near zero. These reported deaths suddenly disappeared from the CDC’s own records in favor of reporting deaths from COVID19 deaths. I’ve already told you about the total number of deaths from all causes in previous years, but you just won’t believe it. It’s true. Go look for yourself. Look at the total deaths for 2019 (and yes, those TOTAL NUMBER figures ARE available contrary to your false assertion). Preliminary death data for 2020 and 2019 are available from the CDC, and detailed data for 2018, and 2017 (again detailed NUMBER figures ARE available contrary to your false assertions). You just have to dig for them (do you know about those things called “Google” or “Duck, Duck, Go”?), and we do know the number who were hospitalized and died in 2018 due to influenza.
Do you think the government is not above obfuscating these data? The US National Center for Health Statistics keeps accurate records but it takes awhile for the various state and county health departments, archivists, and coroners to submit their data at the end of the year. 2020 is just not fully in and reconciled yet when January 2021 has yet to be done, so the report has not been filed. Quit making stuff up. My degree is in Economics so I know how dig data out and how to analyze this stuff. Obviously you don’t.
There is a STRONG financial incentive to diagnose and claim deaths due to Covid19, including a full reimbursement of costs and a $100,000 spiff, from both insurance companies and Medicare without discount. There is a STRONG financial incentive to just diagnose Covid19, with the same full reimbursement and a $17,500 spiff just for the diagnosis with hospitalization, $35,000 spiff for ICU, more if put on ventilation (figures provided from a reliable coding source). Now, remove all other financial input into the hospital by prohibiting optional procedures, and even many necessary and emergency procedures... so much so that hospitals were running empty. So what to medical coders in hospitals do? Being trained to code for maximum financial remuneration, they code Covid, by what ever means necessary. I spent 35 years working in medical field IT. I know how it works. Open a door for more money and they WILL walk through it by what ever means necessary. That does NOT mean “fraud”; it means stretch the rules until they bend, but not break.
Your linked article is an example of the innate problem I am pointing out. . . They are assuming that everyone who died WITH Covid19 died due to COVID19 PLUS they are adding in those who died due to the conditions the government imposed, such as the 81,000 who overdosed because of depression due to lockdowns also died due to COVID19... Those deaths are subsumed in the numbers they are counting in their overall yearly deaths.
According to the CDC’s own reported numbers, the TOTAL number of accumulated deaths in 2020 through September 30, were actually LOWER than the cumulative number of deaths in 2019, 2018, 2017 through the same date. How was that possible if we were experiencing a pandemic? One reason was that supposedly the number of commuting automobile accidents was down due to lockdowns caused fewer people to participate in rush hour traffic hence fewer fatal accidents in 2020. That is only a blip that would come out in the wash. Keep in mind that the CDC was watching death numbers much more closely in 2020 than in previous years.
You complain that I’ve only shown you only two cases, but you obviously have not been reading all the COVID threads on FR. If you had, you’d have been seeing multiple cases over the past year. I’m not going to do your research for you. Those were just to egregious cases that showed the problem as it was being done and reported in the press. I’m not going to spend my time to find you links. Your ignorance is not my problem, it’s yours.
