I know Jared a little. I went to MIT both for college and much later graduate engineering. He was always at the local Chabad volunteering.

He was literally the guy who cleaned up, opened up, shoveled snow. Lead Torah studies.

Very dedicated and sincere.

Be hard to say no to him to pardon someone he loved if that someone had served his time.
