Former President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser Larry Kudlow is joining Fox News as a contributor and business host, the network announced Tuesday.

“FOX News Media was among the first news organizations in the country to understand the critical importance of the relationship between Washington and Wall Street,” Kudlow said in a statement included in the press release. “I’ve long admired their insightful coverage and am excited to join many of my former colleagues now at FBN, creating a show that speaks to the real issues truly impacting Americans.”

Kudlow will “provide expert financial analysis on domestic and global affairs across all” Fox News platforms, according to the announcement. In addition, he will host a weekday program on Fox Business. More information regarding the new program have not yet been announced.

“Larry’s vast experience in policy making coupled with his intuitive on-air presence will add depth and insight to our business analysis programming,” Fox’s CEO Suzanne Scott said. “We are excited to welcome him to the FOX News Media team and look forward to creating a show that utilizes his immense expertise to help guide viewers through this unprecedented time of economic uncertainty.”

Kudlow worked as the assistant to the president for economic policy and as the director of the National Economic Council beginning in 2018. Prior to this, Kudlow was a senior contributor for CNBC and took part in hosting various shows. Kudlow recently criticized Trump after the former president’s Jan. 6 rally in Washington, D.C. Following the rally, Trump supporters rioted and stormed the U.S. Capitol as lawmakers were voting to certify the electoral college vote for President Joe Biden.

“I do believe he went too far with his rally,” Kudlow said during an interview with the Washington Examiner. “He went too far. I agree. He should have stepped in sooner.”

Their new strategy for saving Fox: hire people from the Trump admin. Brilliant !

Have they looked at the ratings for Hannity and Laura ? They are as pro Trump as you can get and their ratings are in the toilet. People aren’t tuning out just because of the hosts. They are boycotting the *organization*. Fox is DEAD. There are better alternatives out there.

Why would he want to join a failing cable news show? Hasn’t he been paying attention?

Larry seems to be a good guy but it is still Fox, which is not.

Good addition. I watched his show a couple of times on CNBC and he was good. I’ll check out his new show when it starts.

I saw they are shutting down NBCSN at the end of 2021 so maybe the proliferation of channels is over and now it will contract.

Not even if they fire Cavuto, Wallace, Juan, Harf, Geraldo, Brazille, Ryan Etc.

The fact they hired them in the first place says all one needs to know about FAUX.
