Summary

The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin due to a heightened threat environment across the United States, which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the successful Presidential Inauguration. Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.

Duration

Issued: January 27, 2021 11:00 am
Expires: April 30, 2021 01:00 pm

Details

•Throughout 2020, Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) targeted individuals with opposing views engaged in First Amendment-protected, non-violent protest activity. DVEs motivated by a range of issues, including anger over COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 election results, and police use of force have plotted and on occasion carried out attacks against government facilities.

•Long-standing racial and ethnic tension—including opposition to immigration—has driven DVE attacks, including a 2019 shooting in El Paso, Texas that killed 23 people.

•DHS is concerned these same drivers to violence will remain through early 2021 and some DVEs may be emboldened by the January 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. to target elected officials and government facilities.

•DHS remains concerned that Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVEs) inspired by foreign terrorist groups, who committed three attacks targeting government officials in 2020, remain a threat.

•Threats of violence against critical infrastructure, including the electric, telecommunications and healthcare sectors, increased in 2020 with violent extremists citing misinformation and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 for their actions.

•DHS, as well as other Federal agencies and law enforcement partners will continue to take precautions to protect people and infrastructure across the United States.

•DHS remains committed to preventing violence and threats meant to intimidate or coerce specific populations on the basis of their religion, race, ethnicity, identity or political views.

•DHS encourages state, local, tribal, and territorial homeland security partners to continue prioritizing physical security measures, particularly around government facilities, to protect people and critical infrastructure.

How You Can Help

•We ask the public to report suspicious activity and threats of violence, including online activity, to local law enforcement, FBI Field Offices, or their local Fusion Center.

•Your choice can make a difference. Choose non-violent ways to make your voice heard and support friends and family in doing the same.

•Communities are strongest when they are not divided: Strengthen your community by standing together against violence.

It’s OK for violent extremists (BLM/Antifa) to burn and loot billions of dollars worth of damages.

But let a few windows in the Capitol get broken and (gasp!) somebody puts their feet on Nanzi’s desk - and well - call in 25,000 troops and issue phony baloney Terror Alerts.

I read this as aimed at all violent groups. Antifa comes first to my mind.

I’d like to report that I’ve been targeted by .eat wing extremists who have waged a ca pain designed to instill fear and angst in the right simply for being g white and conservative. Id also like to report that these far cut domestic terrorists are conspiring to violate my constitutioal rights, and I’d like to report that they have burned dow billions of dollars worth of buildings and businesses, attacked conservatives for simply waring clothing supporting our candidate, beaten us, even killed some and severa, several, and people permanently injured them, or caused them financial ruin.

These far left extremist groups have monikers they go by, namely antifa and blm and the democratic party

I’d a.so like to report that conservatives who go to church are being threatened and attacked by far left groups such as blm, antifa, and LGBT groups in broad daylight, right i. Front of police officers who apparently have been told to stand down and allow the assaults on conservative Christians conti he unabated.

Yours truly, the right.

I assume no mention of Auntiefaz or BLM (BurnLootMurder) and where their funding comes from, plus Chinese handers and Dem bail-payers.

Shortened title. Full title: El Paso Shooter Promoted Population Control: “If We Can Get Rid of Enough People” Planet Will be “Sustainable” The man who police say committed the deadly shooting spree in El Paso, Texas, is believed to have published an anti-immigrant manifesto minutes before the attack. Law enforcement officials said they were confident that an anti-immigrant screed posted online belongs to Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, who they said is responsible for Saturday’s mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso—leaving at least 20 dead and 26 wounded or injured. The nearly 2,400-word manifesto outlines reasons for launching the...

Echo Chamber: NYT, WaPo Print 11 Similar Talking Points on Same Day to Blame Trump for El Paso Terr
Breitbart ^ | 8/9/2019 | aaron klein

NEW YORK — In separate articles on the same day, the New York Times and Washington Post each seemingly parroted the same talking points 11 times in respective articles in their zest to baselessly connect President Trump’s rhetoric and policies to an unhinged manifesto attributed to the 21-year-old accused of murdering 22 people in cold blood and injuring dozens when he opened fire in a Walmart in El Paso.

The manifesto is clearly the work of a demented mind and expressed views that are all over the map, yet both newspapers selectively cited the document to divine the El Paso shooter’s alleged motives and link the mass murder to Trump.

Earlier this week, this reporter documented the manifesto attributed to shooting suspect Patrick Wood Crusius actually shows that the author did not have a coherent political viewpoint. While the text contains racist language targeting the Hispanic community, it also evidences hatred toward what the writer labeled “average Americans” and calls for a decrease in the general American population.

Missing from much of the news media coverage is that the manifesto promotes far-left policy prescriptions including universal healthcare and a socialist-style “universal income.” Perhaps the two main themes of the document are actually anti-corporatist and eco-extremist sentiment and the shooter repeatedly labeled both Republicans and Democrats as sellouts to corporations on a host of issues.

Still, two widely cited front-page articles, both published on August 4, were printed by the New York Times and Washington Post respectively in an attempt to link Trump’s rhetoric to the shooting.

The Times’ piece is titled, “El Paso Shooting Suspect’s Manifesto Echoes Trump’s Language.”

The Post’s article is similarly titled, “‘How do you stop these people?’: Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric looms over El Paso massacre.”
