San Francisco will rename 44 schools, including campuses named after former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

So Feinstein, no slouch in pushing leftist swill to us for decades, is now “bad” because she hugged Mitch the Turtle and even said a few conciliatory sentences.

How about San Francisco Public School #1, #2, #3. etc. Not doubt someone would complain because their offspring wasn’t attending PS#1. Because, racis’. Or something.

The “families” they are talking about certainly aren’t those of the kids in the schools. The Asian kids in Washington, Lincoln, etc. do not like this renaming BS.
The school board is elected almost entirely by non-parents, given San Francisco’s demographics.
San Francisco is plurality Asian. But they are sidelined in SF politics, which is dominated by a leftist white elite that acts on behalf of, in their imagination, oppressed minorities.
They need to skip over 17, the new 13.
