Y'know... up until the recent "wokeness" era of the military, I never would've believed that. Times have changed, sadly.
Well then lets regulate nail colors to only camo colors. Shades of greens and browns. Fair enough. Shake those red flashy nails in the air and have some bullets whiz by, that’ll change things.
A large powerful navy is good thing OTH a standing army is always a potential threat.

I got out in ‘96, but that last year was a doozy. The annual sexual harassment briefing was given by a quite attractive female spilling out of a tight red dress and then some goober from Ernst & Young came in and tried to sell us on helping the troops satisfy Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Because nothing says “reach self-actualization” like a fire fight where someone is trying to kill you. The rot has been going on for some time.
Wouldn’t even surprise that even traditional military families have said “never again”.

I have a friend who is a Major in the Army Reserves. He says the same thing of the Army (he once LOVED). Now he cannot wait to retire. Is literally counting the days. You can ask him at any moment and he will rattle off the years, months, days and hours until he is retired from it.
Says it is “dysfunction junction.” Been heading that way for a while, (before and during Obama). Says the Army seems to only exist, not to defend this country, but to provide a job for those who are basically “unemployable.”
He regularly witnesses people who ignore orders, do the absolute bare minimum to get by, or simply refuse to do their jobs at all. Nobody can be disciplined anymore, ESPECIALLY if they are female or people of color or else there WILL be cries of sexism or racism, 96% of the time.
And he’ll be doing it for the next 4 years can’t blame him.
I ruffled a few feathers when I was in the military when I would insist on such things as issuing live ammunition during exercises because I wanted to know who was a flake and who wasn't when we had medical teams nearby and full trauma centers downtown. I didn't want to have one of our deployed teams find out way too late that they had a walking liability among them and little recourse to correct it.
Does anybody see a problem with this stuff? For example, an enemy combatant dragging a female soldier to his encampment by her hair or even her earring. Such pain!
