The shooter must be a wealthy guy, he has more than one string of beads. /sarcasm.
My gut tells me that there is no one else in the building with leather strap with beads on his right wrist.
Thinking the 2 officers carrying automatic weapons right next to her might have been a clue.
Still doesn't pass the smell test.
I said this last week, was I the only one who knew?
Affirmative Action.
I just noticed he got his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. My college put all the AA diversity students and idiot athletes in Phys Ed because it meant nothing more then spending their time taking such tough courses as bowling, tennis, golf, badminton, weight lifting, etc. Imsaw it at my college. We don’t need people like this as cops. Especially capitol cops.
There are two white beads “in tandem” on the underside of the wrist. Same as the two beads “in tandem” in the shooting photo.
What type of bead pattern is on the unobserved side of the wrist?
A bracelet match is indeed compelling evidence but all of the known factors taken in totality make for a more convincing claim.
Your dispute is fair and noted, but no more conclusive than anyway else’s.
But Political Junkie Too made the best argument that Bailey wasn't the shooter in his post 41 that I didn't see when I made my own post.
The shooter is a balding white male.
Here's PJ's pic reproduced below:
Justine Diamond was not part of a violent left wing mob storming the Capitol. She was not part of a group putting the lives of the U.S. Senate at risk. She was not climbing through a broken window in a door to attack the U.S. Senate when she was shot. The fact that half the Senate are Democrats and the other half is lead by suicidal Republicans in Name Only is no excuse. This was a direct attack on the Federal Government, and that is inexcusable. Diamond did nothing wrong and Mohamed Noor was sentenced to twelve and a half years for murdering her.
If Ashley Babbit was "innocent", she would not have been in the front of the ANTIFA mob storming the Capitol Building. She was a active participant, not a innocent bystander. She committed Sedition and Treason against the United States just like everyone else who drove the Senate out of the building. Everyone else from 2:00 pm onward who entered had nothing to do with the attack and were just easy targets for CNN to blame.
Here is one video that is still up: Detailed Overview Of The Capitol Storming In Washington DC. Ignore John Sullivan's talking over the video. This was a planned, prepared attack on the Capital and in a sane world this video would be evidence to put him in prison for a long time. Watch the first ten to fifteen, it will be clear these area ANTIFA and other left wing "activists" of the type who have been "peacefully" rioting and burning cities for four years. Got to 56 minute mark until around 1:02:00. The shooting of Ashley Babbit was justifiable.
The lighting has played fits with web detectives. I thought the same thing and why wouldn’t one draw such a similar conclusion when using this particular image?
My hunch was that it matched the looks of the recently married cop, that killed himself within a day or two of the shooting.
Someone is taking the liberty to change the exposure/lighting/shading of the images for reasons that remain to be seen.
Here's the original video, cued up at the relevant time. You can see it is a white middle aged man wearing glasses and has a receding hair line. He also appears to be wearing black gloves.

Bottom image is from 15 years ago.
I did some searching and found this profile picture of him from his wedding in 2017.
I cropped his head and flipped it to match the facing of the shooter. I also drew a mask onto his face for comparison. Imagine a shorter-cropped hair in 2021 than he had for his wedding. He does have a "widow's peak" hairline, as the shooter appears to also have.
Leibengood was the son of a former Sergeant At Arms of the Senate (1981-1983), so he was legacy Capitol Police. If he was the shooter (and I'm not saying he is), this probably weighed so heavily on him that he couldn't live with the family disgrace.

I agree... I posited the same hunch in a previous thread. I elaborated in my post about an individual in my hometown that was under the influence while driving and killed a couple on a motorcycle. The police released him for some reason and he went home and took his life, out of a sense of guilt/grief/justice. I suspect that is what has happened here in the shooting of Ashli Babbitt.
That the authorities have been intentionally slow to name the shooter has (if true) permitted the maligning of the other person that is considered a primary candidate to be the shooter.
Very interesting.
Thanks

7. How was the cop supposed to know Ashli wasn’t some Tim McVeigh level lunatic or a suicide bomber? Ask nicely? Wait for a detonation?
Exactly what I told everyone the excuse would be due to the backpack she had on.
Doesn’t need a backpack. Richard Reid, an Islamist, put explosives in his shoes. Grenades can fit in pockets. One of Isis’ sickest and most bloodthirsty western converts was a woman.
What are you trying to say here?
Stand your ground, draw the line, and you can definitely shoot if you’re being charged at by the first person through the barricades who has a huge angry mob behind him/her... UNLESS THAT PERSON IS A WHITE FEMALE CONSERVATIVE?
If anyone gives a locked door in a building full of frightened VIPs the Here’s Johnny treatment right in front of armed security, specifically in order to get to the people on the other side of the protective barrier, they have no business whingeing about it if they get a heavy handed response.
The ones who were right there smashing at the door were stood at the front of a noisy crowd. They saw the gun, they all shouted warnings to each other, and most importantly they all stood down.
Not one of those guys tried to climb through the window because they knew what was waiting on the other dide. They’ve all admitted as much. Their videos confirm it.
The narrative that the shot was unprovoked and fired with no warning is not backed up by even one person who was definitely right there by those doors on that day. It’s an invention of the QAnon inspired alternative facts lobby.
There is no way the shooter could’ve even seen the cops behind the crowd much less heard them above all the racket.
So we can ignore the second alternative fact about how the killer’s X ray vision and superhearing meant he knew all the protesters were just smashing the door down for the LOLz and shot from a position eher nobody (except a big line of male protesters shouting “he’s got a gun” several times) could see the gun.
If Ashli couldn’t hear those guys shouting “he’s got a gun” several times when she was stood practically next to them, then the shooter couldn’t possibly definitely have seen or heard the police in the stairwell sixteen feet away beging two closed doors and a crowd of fifty shouty protesters.
There was a line. It was being defended at gunpoint by someone who was either defending frightened folks on their own initiative or who’d been ordered to do it... But who was making darned sure the protesters could see him AND his gun.
All those male protesters saw him and they then understood it was a line not to be crossed.
We will never know what motivated Ashli to cross it. But we sure as heck know that only an ocean-going liar and hypocrite of a faux conservative would deny that, if they’d been the guard holding the gun, and there’d been a Trump aide cowering behind them, this would’ve absolutely been defended by everyone MAGA.
Because it was a textbook “terrorist breach” scenario, irrespective of the appearance, gender, race, religion or political creed of the first person through the broken window. If one very angry, very psyched person can get through the barricade, so can the fifty crazies behind them.
Lethal force is not just morally authorized, it’s the only logical solution. End of story.
