Germany is considering almost completely halting flights into the country to slow the spread of more infectious strains of the coronavirus, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said on Tuesday (Jan 26).
"The danger from the numerous virus mutations forces us to consider drastic measures," Seehofer told the Bild newspaper.
"That includes significantly stricter border checks, especially at the borders of high-risk areas, but also reducing air travel to Germany to almost zero, as Israel is currently doing," he added.

Don’t you love how “more infectious” is in scare quotes? As if this means it must be deadlier or at least cause more severe cases in a the broader population. Neither which as been shown ASFAIK. A virus well evolve to be more infectious because that increases its chances of survival. It does not follow it will be more severe.

That’s why I expect UBI and the world “savior” (dictator false messiah) known as the man of sin (for shorthand, the Antichrist).
People will have to have UBI just to survive in such a world. Not everybody can work from home, either. (just saying that - you didn’t suggest it, of course)

You could have told me, two years ago, that the whole world would shut down and I wouldn’t have believed you. But it did, March of 2020.

The H1N1 of '09 (Swine Flu), that infected 50+ million on the US (see: CDC) has evolved into the seasonal flu season virus (again, see: CDC).
H1N1 did not go away.

And are these ‘vaccines’ effective against all variants? E.g. the flu shot isn’t effective against all influenza variants and some years is barely 50% effective e.g. depending on the strain that spreads in the winter, they may not have made the right vaccine the previous summer. It’s a little bit of guesswork and projection to decide which flu shots to produce in quantities large enough to inoculate the many hundreds of millions of people who get them every year.
The Alphabet Swamp has screwed this whole thing up since day one. You could argue negligently, or intentionally. We know the risk factors, and we have damn good evidence that cheap generic medications work extremely well if given early upon diagnosis or onset of first symptoms.
Sars2 and flu are totally different.
The flu viruses are many and are different viruses altogether. There are different vaccines for the different viruses.
Sars2 is one virus with some variation in some amino acids.
