A federal judge has slapped down President Biden's 100 day deportation freeze for illegal aliens, ruling in favor of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who sued against the measure.
VICTORY.Texas is the FIRST state in the nation to bring a lawsuit against the Biden Admin.
AND WE WON.
Within 6 days of Biden’s inauguration, Texas has HALTED his illegal deportation freeze.
*This* was a seditious left-wing insurrection. And my team and I stopped it. — Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX) January 26, 2021
BREAKING: Judge Tipton blocks the Biden administration's 100 day deportation moratorium.
Big initial loss for the Biden administration as it moves forward with its immigration policies. pic.twitter.com/lwXpJpMn7m — Hamed Aleaziz (@Haleaziz) January 26, 2021
It’s my duty to protect Texas, and I will. https://t.co/fuTHp78r3f — Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX) January 24, 2021
"A federal judge on Tuesday barred the U.S. government from enforcing a 100-day deportation moratorium that is a key immigration priority of President Joe Biden," the Associated Press reports. "U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton issued a temporary restraining order sought by Texas, which sued on Friday against a Department of Homeland Security memo that instructed immigration agencies to pause most deportations. Tipton said the Biden administration had failed 'to provide any concrete, reasonable justification for a 100-day pause on deportations.'"
Pres. Biden's order to halt deportations of violent felons and sex offenders is a betrayal of the men and women guarding our borders and a message to the world that America isn't serious about dealing with this crisis. Judge Tipton did the right thing. https://t.co/qHmtPKdt20 — Rep. Darrell Issa (@repdarrellissa) January 26, 2021
Meanwhile, President Biden signed an executive order on his first day in the Oval Office to stop construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Hooray for Texas!
Now to fight the halting of that pipeline. Says something in the Constitution about interfering with existing contracts, I think. And there’s standing a-plenty.
Well, Chairman Jao better get his men in arms in Portland
closer to the problem.
Looks like disharmony in the ranks. LOL
Well, we know of one judge with a spine.
It’s a start.
Good for Texas, but they’ll just appeal.
Waiting for a freeper to downplay this or throw water on positive news 3...2...1
Waiting for terrorists to attack the judge’s family home.
We will see if that order will actually work, and whether agents will continue deportations in the knowledge that the Dems don’t want it to happen.
The difference between Dem and Republican administrations is that bureaucrats know that Democrats WILL find a way to screw over your life if you defy them.
Yeah!
Nice, nothing this brain dead treasonist signs should be recognized. Personally I would LOVE to see our military stop all of this and round up all ....a pipe dream I know but I see no other alternative when legal avenues are shuttered.
Interesting - a judge has blocked an executive order that doesn’t actually exist.
They’ve got this misdirection thing down to the letter - sparing no expense for creating the illusion that Biden is actually President.
Nice to hear a bit of good news...expect some lefty judge to set the ruling aside in 3...2...1
Gotta love Abott and Paxton!!!
How do we know that judge even exists?
Couldn’t it be a doppelgänger?
Hmmm?
That’s what I’m hearing, yes.
Yay! A judge nominated by Trump who DIDN’T betray him.
Does anyone think this ruling would have been made by an Obama, or Hillary Clinton, appointed judge?
Doesn’t matter. In the interim, the preliminary injunction remains in effect. And even if they prevail on appeal, Texas can appeal that. It can go all the way up to SCOTUS, and from there, who knows who will prevail. Three of those judges were Trump appointees, and two others are reputed conservatives, and one is Brave Sir Robin.
