WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Dominion Voting Systems Inc has filed a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, accusing him of defamation for making false claims of fraud about the November 2020 U.S. presidential election, court documents on Monday showed. Dominion earlier filed lawsuits against the Trump campaign and former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell, whom the company also accused of spreading false conspiracy theories about the election that Trump lost to Democrat Joe Biden. Giuliani's lawyer, Robert Costello, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A group of prominent attorneys last week asked New York’s judiciary to suspend Giuliani's law license because he made false claims in post-election lawsuits and for urging Trump’s supporters to engage in “trial by combat” shortly before they stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

aNyone notice on the “lists of voting abuses and cases sent to court” that Trump was stated as NOT having standing? Standing is for the abused claimant and him/her only, not for any tagaongs. His reputation and job were affected by the theft. He HAD standing, but was refused it by selfish, leftist judges who just wanted to see him put out of office, even if it broke the law! There are a lot of lawbreakers who need to be removed from office. Trump should start singling them out for states to make a case against their continued tenure!
I would suppose that depends on what Rudy actually has on Dominion and how strong his case is. He could settle if his evidence is weak. Or he could take it to court which might make for interesting discovery on both sides.
We already have good evidence from Antrim County. State legislature in Arizona is still trying to get the forensic audit that is still being stalled. GA legislature also wanted all ballots from Fulton County. I think all of that evidence is gone. Shredded and/or “hillaryized”.
I’m no legal mind here, but if those machines were indeed wiped clean and all hardware and software switched out, wouldn’t a judge dismiss the lawsuit since Dominion has no proof Giuliani was lying?
I read yesterday the Trump has $70,000,000 in his Campaign coffers, and an additional $220,000,000 was donated over the last 60+ days for the stop the steal legal fees.

Giuliani is a Republican. How much more proof do you need to know he’s guilty?
Of its shredded someone needs to go to jail. They have to hold those ballots for a certain amount of time.

Self-sealing theory there, never will be accepted by any jury. No one can, or ever has to prove a negative (that the software was erased and switched out), Rudy or whoever has the entire burden of proving that the lying software was on there at the time of the election.
If someone accuses you or me of in a civil suit (say having a meth lab or a firearms stash), we don’t have to prove we don’t/didn’t have one, they have to prove we do/did; if we sucessfully got rid of it, they are hosed in a court of law.
Never EVER accuse someone of anything you can’t back up with the evidence you already have, unless you like losing lawsuits; counting on ‘discovery’ is often a fool’s game.
Wondering if it’s about the look for dominion. These states are going to try to keep there cheating machines in place for future elections then they have no choice but to sue. Hide the evidence using the media. Sue all of them even if it’s thrown out. I doubt they would chance leaving evidence on the machines. They would get eaten alive by the media.
The burden of proof falls on the plaintiff.

Exactly.. If they swapped things out and Rudy has no video or any evidence they did that then is he hosed. But with them suing Rudy then does dominion have to prove the hardware and software used in the election was fine. And if either side is hosed maybe that’s all dominion wants. As long as there is no proof the machines were rigged. And if Rudy or Powell had this evidence it would have came out. Someone posted a link of inspection of machines, do you know if that was true and are those machines used in the election. I know judges would not even hear evidence in lawsuits so it is a chance to look at it all. If it actually goes to court..

Your idea sounds good. But it would work if we had laws that both sides had to follow. We don’t. This election proved it. The Official Word is “There was no fraud. The Electoral College accepted the lying results as actual. The Republican Party accepted the results as genuine. The Courts, including the Supreme Court accepted the results as true. The Supreme Court, led in person by that paragon of virtue John Roberts, even went so far as to abdicate its duty to medicate disputes between States. I am certain that should a child molester such as the one in the White House wished to use the bathroom with your or someone else’s pubescent daughter and possibly use the child, John Roberts would be Johnny on the spot. Anyway, the purpose of this reply was to say, while your idea is good, the Courts would just dismiss the case. Since January 20, 2021 the only laws in America are the ones the Democrat Party approves and their purpose is to keep the boot of the Government on the necks of the People.

and 17 EO’s, just like “Q” is the 17th letter in the alphabet. Maybe Biden is Q?
The CounterSuit may lose, but data would be brought out front-and-center for all to see, and the expense to Dominion would hopefully drive it out of business.
Bet Dominion pushes for out of court settlement if they do go to couth it gives Giuliani a chance to prove his case with evidence and he has a lot of it.
Rudy should agree to settle out of court. If Dominion agrees to give him $50 million they can drop their case.
