I think there’s a developing idea that this whole thing is absurd, based on the fact that Trump is no longer in office. And that since the whole purpose of impeachment is to remove the offending office holder from his/her position, it’s a useless exercise since Trump is in fact no longer president.
Except by doing this they’re admitting that Trump is the legitimate President.🤔

That’s the general idea but these kooks want to make sure he never is allowed to run for office again. They must be really scared out of their wits that he would take them to the cleaners in 2024.
You’re giving them too much credit for thinking this through. They’re afraid of losing their place at the trough.
It also is pretty good indication that they do, in fact, FEAR Trump. Now why is that the case?

President Trump is now a citizen just like you and me. There is no impeachment to remove citizenship like an impeachment does for removal from office.
