A Tacoma police officer whose SUV was surrounded by a crowd was seen on camera running over a pedestrian Saturday night. The incident was captured on camera and distributed on social media. Tacoma police officer Wendy Haddow said officers were called to Ninth South and Pacific where cars were blocking the intersection and doing burnouts and doughnuts. A crowd of about 100 people had gathered to watch.
A Tacoma police officer who arrived soon found himself surrounded by people who were banging on the windows and SUV in a threatening way, Haddow said. Some of the SUV’s windows may have been broken.
As the officer tried to move out of the crowd, he backed up, but was unable to get out, so he drove forward. Haddow said she believed one person fell as the SUV moved forward and was run over. She said one person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Video posted to Twitter showed a person under the police SUV as it drove away.

Turnabout is fair play. I'd even prefer: "Deadly Insurrectionist Stopped by Brave Cop".
C’mon man... That girl that was under the car was probably just hiding from her mean ex-boyfried. She probably figured that the police were there to protect her.
The "Hot Now" sign popped on at a Krispy Kreme somewhere in the city. There's literally a telepathic signal that goes out to the popo. Don't get in the their way when that happens.
Ah. I get it. :)
That depends on the area and the city codes.
At age 88 I have given up clogs-——just wear masks on my feet. :-)
Hope all is well with you.

“Some people - who weren’t AntiFa and weren’t protesting and were all at a hot dog stand having a hot dog - did something”
Cops used to have an abbreviation for the excuse suspects gave for being at the scene of a crime: SOCMOB. (Standing On Corner, Minding Own Business).
Hahahahahahaha.
All is well, Miss Mears, thank you for asking.
I think there must be something seriously wrong with me. Perhaps I have had another stroke, maybe my brain simply melted.
All I know for certain is I watched the video and when the SUV was bumping up and down while running over at least one person, I started grinning and even after 5 minutes I am still grinning.
Now every time I dial 911, as soon as it’s answered, I laugh, hang up and dial again.
I think all cop cars need cattle guards like the ones on the front of Choo Choo trains.
I like.
