In fairness, he didn’t say how big his place is. The minimum is a couple of handguns, a “fully semi-automatic” (if you haven’t seen that Steven Crowder video, it is highly recommended) rifle, and a shotgun ... per member of the household old enough to wield them. Personally, we are a shotgun and a handgun short. Actually, a shotgun, a rifle, and a 4 wheel drive are the bare minimum according to the song.
My grandparents didn’t even lock their doors at night, but I need a gun on the desk when I’m working in my own living room in the middle of the day.
My door is unlocked all the time...even when I go to the town forty miles away.
I’m surrounded by solid conservatives who own guns.
My parents don't. And they didn't/don't have guns. Hubby wants me to keep one of mine in easy reach during the day. I'm not really into that as we have two 4-legged girls and hubby is usually here with me, and we keep doors locked. Now, when hubby is gone? That's a different story: gun out; alarm on.
