Lol! I remember my Dad trapping a squirrel that had been attacking birds at his feeder. He asked me to drive him somewhere relatively remote to release it. I pulled over, he opened the trap and shook it, but the damned squirrel hung on inside it. My Dad was cursing so loudly I was afraid the people in the nearest house would hear him and call the cops.

How many other folks thought of all of the communicable diseases and vermin that will infest those little coffins?

Gee let me go lie in that POD filled with urine and feces. Nan Pelosi needs to get about 25,000 for her chit pit San Francisco.

Looks like a horizontal port-o-let. Nice green touch with the solar panel.

This sort of thing is because Leftist "Progressive" policies have made such things as cheap boarding houses illegal.
Let the market work, and a person could rent a cot and locker, with a shared community bathroom, for $5 a day, or $100 a month.
Cannot do it, because of zoning, liability, licensing and building codes.

Like everything else these feel-good exercises will result in failure. They will be abused and destroyed. Remember Portland, OR and their free winter blankets to the homeless? Sold for drugs or booze. Seattle’s “share a bike”? Stolen and sold for parts.

Should have just called them open air toilets. It's all fun and Leftism until they start taking dumps in them. There's also nothing like the stench of a dead body after someone overdoses and dies in one.
Might as well affix permanent signs to them: "Exhibit A, Exhibit B, etc."

If my reeducation camp has dogs and snow I might be ok.

Oh, I guarantee there will be dogs. But they won't be Westies and Yorkiepoos.
As for the snow, I'm sure they'll be more than willing to acquiesce to your request.

Mutts will be fine. But if the Dems know that I like snow and dogs I’ll be stuck in the desert at a cat camp.

I’ll make an easy prediction - any city that adopts this will end up with more “homeless”, aka druggies and mentally ill.

Considering who the target “audience” is, that need is almost a given.

“When they are in use, sensors are triggered” The pods can then be easily moved, and the trapped vermin released relatively unharmed into neighboring cities.
Must be part of new no touch delivery covid rules.
