Circa 1962(IIRC) he ran out on his wife, kids and financial obligations. Just up and skipped town.
He surfaced about 10 yrs later in Atlanta.(That's the first I heard of his resurfacing )

Shame to discuss Larry king and hank Aaron in same thread. But they were both in their 80s. Aaron died in his sleep. A great way to go.

I still remember his interview with atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair, not long before her atheist former “friends” came for her and family with their strangling cords, butcher knives, sledge hammers and chain saws.
