Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faced anger from some of Canada’s premiers Thursday over U.S. President Joe Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline project — including heated calls for punishment that could fracture ties between the two allies.
The First Ministers call, which lasted just over an hour, also touched on the coronavirus pandemic and issues with the nationwide vaccine rollout, sources told Global News. But Canada-U.S. relations in the wake of Biden’s controversial move dominated the discussion.
“Some premiers want to go to war” with the United States over the cancellation, aides of those who participated in the meeting said.

The aides spoke on the condition of anonymity to frankly discuss a private discussion that they said “got pretty heated.”
During the discussion, aides said Ontario Premier Doug Ford cast his lot in with Alberta’s Jason Kenney and Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe, and warned the prime minister he should stand up to “a bully” like Biden on Keystone.
The characterization surprised some of the other premiers on the call, aides said, given the behaviour of Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump.
Ford, along with premiers of other non-oil producing provinces, fear that if Biden can cancel Keystone XL, he’ll also bring in “Buy America” policies to help the American economy recover from the pandemic. A “Buy America” policy, which Biden has promised on the campaign trail, could freeze out Canadian steel, aluminum, and manufactured goods — something that would cause widespread harm to the Canadian economy.
Do you know how to make Poutine?
**** Canada. Alberta should join us though. We make a deal. If PR gets in, Alberta will become 52nd state.
Trudeau may had done that but I doubt that he was sincere about it because he is pretty far Left as it is. He gets away with it so he gets to appear to be a moderate while blaming it on Biden.
They have a poutine MRE. I swear I'm not making that up.
Gentlemen, start your popcorn makers!
“At this time in our history, any talk about “going to court” for any grievance is not just laughable, it’s downright nuts.

Our judiciary is now part of the deep state’s inimical clown show. Wait till some federal judge asks for cockroach control and the exterminator starts by spraying the judge.
Keep an eye on Legion halls and the Vann Doos mustering.
If the pipeline does not go through, Canada will lose billions of dollars and, the tar sands oil will probably never be tapped. The reason for this is American fracked oil is almost like water. It is very easy to refine. The Canadian oil is much heavier and it requires a different refining process. That means entirely different machinery.
If there is no pipeline then all of the current refining capacity will be switched over to refine only the light sweet crude produced in the United States. In other words, the ability to refine Canadian oil will go away. Permanently.
I suppose Canada could build a refinery on site that handles their low grade oil. Then they could build a pipeline to take it to ports on the West Coast. But my guess is the Green nuts in Canada will prevent that from happening. The path of least political resistance was a pipeline through the US to refiners in Texas, which can handle that low grade.
The window of opportunity to build the pipeline is probably closed. Canada, due to demographic decline, will shortly be out of tax money and loan money. This signals a general decline in Canada’s ability to maintain the welfare state they have built up. The tar sands were the last opportunity. Barring a sudden discovery of gold, Canada is in for some very bad times.
Here is an interesting presentation on the Canadian demographic problem. The pipeline could have resolved much of their capital problem.

I am convinced Biden wants to go toe to toe with Assad. Assad is a key to pretty much everything leading into 2016, IMVHO. Neocons and Democrats will hell bent on toppling Assad which would have led to ISIS control of Syria. Hillary was their tool. Assad is also the excuse used to admit hundreds of thousands of so called refugees into the West.
Never thought that I would be on Canada’s side!
My mother was born in Canada, and my Great-Uncle died in WWI in France fighting for Canada. I might have to root for Canada on this one.

Just imagine the amount of seriously humongous signed contracts that just, what, evaporated???
Biden is asshoe.
My sister said she heard Tredeau called Biden begging him to not do it, that he was shutting down their economy.

Oh, the irony of reading that after the media gushing about how other countries were going to trust us again.
Canada, rug, pulled, took one day.
They can thank Obama, he sends the orders from his Masters. This is symbolic red meat for the Greenies.
“First Mexico and now Canada...”
Also Israel. He so infuriated Israel that they were threatening to expel our Ambassador.
We should be worried about CIE (Canadian Intelligence Eh-gency) assets being deployed against us.
For all of you that are laughing at this by Canada just consider this...
Canada is currently the largest supplier of potash, indium, aluminum and tellurium to the U.S. and the second-largest supplier of niobium, tungsten and magnesium. Canada also supplies roughly one quarter of the uranium needs of the U.S. and has been a reliable partner to the U.S. in this commodity for over 75 years.
They can make the USA hurt and hurt very badly.
So laugh it up, Biden is a dumb pr#ck who has managed to make an enemy out of a very important friend.
OH and BTW? Dont look for Joe the Pr#ck to open up any lands for mineral exploration or even allow the issue of permits to be had for the mining of these strategic minerals within this country.
Let’s trade New York, Michigan and Minnesota to Canada for Manitoba and Alberta and a province to be named later. Does that give us the electoral college for 2024?
