Yes, fetal stem cells were used in the confirmation process of the vaccine.

I think from a principles perspective, the issue is irrelevant on whether the vaccines were used in the actual production or the testing.
I fully understand why someone would not want a vaccine derived from aborted fetal cells or those derived, cultured, or cloned as these were.
The fact that they were involved at all in any part of a money-making endeavor is the principle at stake. I do believe the slippery slope it initiates, on making money off of abortions in some way is abhorrent, and I understand that view as well.
