There seem to be too many “accidents”...looks like coordinated sabotage by those whose new normal is pandemic paranoia.
They can’t imagine life without fear.
No malice necessary, only newsworthy because it’s Covid.
This happened at my veterinary practice years ago. We found the mini fridge unplugged in the morning after someone had been in to wax the floors. Thousands of dollars in vaccines spoiled. Fortunately, insurance covered the loss in that case.
When interrogating the cleaner, all he could say is “No habla engles “.
There went my family’s dose. Darn! Well...we did fine without then up to this point, we will do fine in the future. No worries!
In my younger days, I used to work in the Custodial Sciences/Janitorial Arts field.
I suspect the freezer was unplugged in honor of a vacuum, floor polisher, or some such thing.
IF alarm relied on same power source-—How could it ‘go off’???
Battery backup
The lab, pharmacy, and morgue refrigerators are all monitored with two sensors (wet bulb and dry bulb) by computer in the physical plant where I work. The alarm systems are powered separately, and would send a signal to the 24/7 plant operator if it were properly installed and monitored.
IOW, I think somebody is off to the spanking room.
