Shouldn’t this have been happening for AT LEAST the last two cycles (2018, 2020)? How’d that work out? Like me, did you not have a MAGA choice in the primary and end up voting in the general for the idiot with the “R” next to his name?
With a new party, we might have a chance to actually VET the candidates, not just hold our nose for the RINO Globalist the GOPe pushes on us.

That's what we've been doing for years by voting GOP. We're kind of tired of it.
It is far too late for anything like this. We don’t have 4 more years. We probably don’t even have two. We are a communist nation now.
However, I think you're looking at National elections alone, without taking into consideration state and local politics as well.
The Republicans gained seats in the House in 2020. The Republicans lost the Senate only because of crap going on in Georgia, and no help from people like Lin Woods who said 'don't vote in their rigged election.' Republicans stayed home for the runoffs, the Democrats did not gain votes.
Republicans hold a majority of Governorships. Republicans hold a majority of state houses.
The Republican party is split between the McCain-Bush Neocons, and the Trump Patriots. What we need to do is to marginalize the Neocons, and get more Trump Patriots into the party machine. That will take time.
Again, I point to the Democratic party, that was transformed from the party that got us into the Vietnam war into the party that loathes the military. They did it beginning with the Chicago riots during the 1968 Chicago National Convention, and ended up with the Clinton-Obama-Alinskyites taking over throughout the 1970s. They put their people in at the bottom, and they worked their way to the top. The old guard of the Clintons, Pelosis, and Schumeres are dying off, and they are being replaced by the up and coming AOCs and Omars.
We need to do the same with the Republican party. Push out the McCains and Bushes, and put in more Patriots.
The system has been crafted over the years to ensure that what happened to the Whigs will never happen again. The numbers just won't work anymore.

You don’t understand what’s happened and what’s happening.
We need a new Party with new Leaders. The GOP can’t be fixed because it’s infected with liars and backstabbers disease. I’ve heard this split the vote nonsense for years and it’s baloney. The two split the vote elections involved Ross Perot-Clinton and Bernie Sanders. This new Party will be smarter and able to deal with these issues. Besides, 4 years of Biden will be the best opportunity for a new Party.

Bad idea. This will just split the vote. If the patriots are not strong enough to win Republican party primaries, how can they win in general elections just by splitting off into their own little group? Better idea is to start at the grassroots by winning school board elections, AG elections, etc., and then they will be strong enough to challenge the GOP establishment.
