Because they hate all government, they are anarchists. The dems used them as a wedge against Trump. Instead of arresting the destroyers, they let them grow and grow they did.
Now the Dems have a monster on their hands that they can’t control. They want to do more then take down Trump, they want to over throw the entire government. That is what revolutionaries do. Only problem, we have the commies (BLM) who will gladly take power once the current power has been defeated.
Dems are in between a rock and a hard place here. It isn’t going to be pretty
BLM will march right side the anarchists because they know they will get ultimate power out of this. And with BLM by their side, they know Dems are not going to open fire on a group of a AntiFa and BLM, it would be bad optics to start killing black people.
Dems created this situation, now they have to solve it.
At least with Trump they had a common enemy, now the enemy is the democrat party and they scared.
Why did you think they fortified the capitol? It wasn’t to keep Trump supporters out, (even though they may say that in public) it was to keep Antifa and BLM out....

I watch the streamer feeds from these riots live in a chat room when they happen. The chatters are mostly right wing. Many people commented that they feel a weight has been lifted. No longer our monkey or our circus.
Well, the police did ask them to stop. Maybe they need to say “please.”

The coverage I saw on YouTube (while avoiding the hundreds of pro-Biden inaug vids) called them “anti-ICE”, meaning, they’re mainstream Demagogic Party stooges. There was a homeless guy who’d put out one of the arson fires with a bottled water (LOL) complained the homeless would be evicted (?) as a consequence of the riots. Typical homeless white supremacist.
