(Rod Lamkey/Pool via Reuters) Leading American constitutional lawyer, Glenn Greenwald, wrote about the growing power of police and security agencies against domestic “terrorism,” which could replicate “many of the worst excesses of the first War on Terror that began nearly twenty years ago.”
Greenwald points to recent events that demonstrate this strong trend, “an orgy of censorship from Silicon Valley monopolies with calls for far more aggressive speech policing.”
‘An orgy of censorship’ And they also want “a visibly militarized Washington, D.C. featuring a non-ironically named ‘Green Zone,’ vows from the incoming president and his key allies for a new anti-domestic terrorism bill, and frequent accusations of ‘sedition,’ ‘treason,’ and ‘terrorism’ against members of Congress and citizens.”
He added, “This is all driven by a radical expansion of the meaning of ‘incitement to violence.’ It is accompanied by viral-on-social-media pleas that one work with the FBI to turn in one’s fellow citizens (See Something, Say Something!), and demands for a new system of domestic surveillance.”
To complete this picture, which strongly resembles the repressive tactics of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the questioning of the system could indicate “harbor sympathy for the Terrorists and their neo-Nazi, white supremacist ideology.”
A comparison to Al-Qaeda The declarations of Gen. Stanley McChrystal—for years head of the Joint Special Operations Command in Iraq and commander of the war in Afghanistan—are intimidating, when he compares the situation in the United States with the evolution of the terrorist movement al-Qaeda in Iraq.
“I did see a similar dynamic in the evolution of al-Qaida in Iraq, where a whole generation of angry Arab youth with very poor prospects followed a powerful leader who promised to take them back in time to a better place, and he led them to embrace an ideology that justified their violence,” McChrystal said.
He added, “This is now happening in America. … I think we’re much further along in this radicalization process, and facing a much deeper problem as a country, than most Americans realize.”
Additionally, Greenwald presents other episodes in which journalists and Democratic leaders insist on the assembly of the state apparatus against “terrorism,” amply confirming their conclusions.
The trap “If you identify as a conservative and continue to believe that your prime enemies are ordinary leftists, or you identify as a leftist and believe your prime enemies are Republican citizens, you will fall perfectly into the trap set for you,” warns Greenwald.
Greenwald added, “Namely, you will ignore your real enemies, the ones who actually wield power at your expense: ruling class elites, who really do not care about “right v. left” and most definitely do not care about “Republican v. Democrat”—as evidenced by the fact that they fund both parties—but instead care only about one thing: stability, or preservation of the prevailing neoliberal order.”
A U.S. businessman who supports former President Trump, Patrick M. Byrne, interprets the repressive the strategies of the Democrats as following communist guidelines. He credits his ability to do so based on his studies of Maoism in China.
“I promise I will start doing so. But you have to do something for me: understand that you are walking into a trap,” Byrne says in a tweet that is part of a larger thread.
How to introduce the police state “Nancy Pelosi wants to provoke you to be scared and violent, and then they will create their police state under the pretext of ending your ‘extremism,'” he added.
He goes on to contrast the great difference between the riots in many U.S. cities last year and the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

“Look at this year: the Left’s political violence burned police stations, hurt 700 cops, killed 33, but since you got unruly on Jan 6 they used “information dominance” (the MSM are their toadies) to turn against you millions of Americans who until then had been on your side,” wrote Byrne.
Byrne insists on not responding with violence, on smiling and simultaneously launching an intense campaign with the slogan “He’s Not My President,” to “drive the Democrats crazy,” who would not try anything against it because they used that slogan themselves for four years.
Additionally, he recommends establishing a close connection with other Trump supporters in the alternative media, to stay abreast of developments, and to stay united. Byrne’s Twitter account was already suspended.

They armed Washington, D. C. to the teeth for today, and they
didn’t get so much as a stray dog in town.
These people are paranoid control freaks. They haven’t one
clue.
They denigrate U. S. citizens on a whim, and compare them to
the worst people on planet earth. They don’t so much as blink
as they regurgitate this stuff out in the open.
I honestly think there’s a whole section of military leadership
that should come under some sort of review. They need to
be shown the door, and frankly some of them should come up
on charges with some pretty stiff penalties.
Posse Comitatus is on the chopping block here. They look
intent on barreling through that barrier and way way beyond.

Yes, their actions show how scared they are. They are splintered in beliefs and programs, but unified in hatred of the policies we believe in, personified in President Trump.

Started watching the March for Justice video again. Retired FBI Agent Gary Aldrich is the first speaker, and he’s talking of the politicization of the FBI, etc., and the “peaceful war protesters” who threw rocks and bottles at the police officers, and turned over cars. That’s 1998. Nothings changed in 23 years in D.C.
