I have likewise read he was having an affair before his first wife’s death. You are correct in that we are all sinners. God does forgive us if we ask.
However, read the oath, to God, he made repeatedly being sworn in as Senator. He also took an oath at his first marriage. Perhaps some, or all, of his misfortunes are due to God rebuking and correcting him for not honoring his oaths over the years. The oath he took as President is stricter with regard to the constitution. At some point, God’s patience runs out. I know he, and each of us, will give an accounting to God.
Yes, we all will stand before God and give an accounting of what we have done.
