By the third grade, I learned that a sentence that begins "In Washington State" is about Washington State not just a particular part of Washington State. Sorry to hear you never made it to third grade.
Thinking back to when you were in the third grade... Do any of these findings from a study on marijuana use affecting students seem familiar to you?
“Students were getting lower grades and becoming less likely to graduate, compared to students who did not use marijuana.”
“Students had significantly impaired skills related to attention, memory and learning even after not using marijuana for 24 hours.”
“Students had problems in sustaining and shifting attention.”
“Students had problems with the ability to register, organize and use information, even compared to occasional users of marijuana.”
“Students had an impaired ability to recall words from a list a week after quitting marijuana use.”

Strong Link Found to Marijuana and Lowered Intellect Levels
False - the prima facie reading is that the speaker is invalidly extrapolating their corner-of-the-state experience to the entire state. A fully literate speaker not thus extapolating will say e.g. "In my neck of Washington State ..."
Keep toking away my pot addled friend, but remind me not to take a creative writing class or English 101 from you. Despite your attempt at some form of grammar lesson... in literature it is not necessary or even desirable to give specific location information multiple times in the same paragraph. “In my neck” is half of a common idiom, but hardly proper English.
Now you're just making s*** up because you lack the character to admit a mistake.
Find me a reference that supports your looney point of view.
Get cracking.
Gosh its too bad I didn’t give you my address, work schedule, the type of car I drive, my social security number, and my mother’s maiden name. But even that would not make you happy because you are a dyed in the wool tyrant who will only be satsified if someone agrees with you that legalizing marijuana is the answer to all the world’s problems. I think Joe BIden put out a help wanted sign... you would fit right in with Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the gang. There probably isn’t a single thing that the two of you disagree on.
Wrong as usual.
That was an obvious typo... I guess it discredits everything that I described. You are a perfect representative of the new reality that Joe Biden represents. I am not sure that your trash talking and smarmy refusal to face the facts about what happens when what you advocate is going to fly here very much longer. Reading the nonsense that you spout is too much like what people find at the DU for most of us.
I don't know why it took you so long to admit to a simple typo - but better late than never.
I guess it discredits everything that I described.
Not at all. You have the natural right not to be subjected to others' noxious odors, whatever the source - and driving while smoking ought not be allowed to happen. But we don't ban everything that smells bad, nor do we ban alcohol because it impairs driving.
There was no typo in my innitial post. The typo I was refering to was the one you quoted in post 130, which is the post I was responding to. You are a piece of work.
But I do appreciate your more civil tone. So thank you for that.
I’m not seeing any typo - and I didn’t try to discredit your account.
And then you try to discredit my account for your idiotic argument about improper grammar???
Should have been:
And then you try to discredit my account with your idiotic argument about improper grammar???
(account meaning description)
Now, have a good evening and whose on second?
“whose on second?”
That’s “who’s” ;^D
You got me again...
