Graham calls on McConnell to 'unequivocally' denounce second Trump impeachment effort
Fox News ^ | 47 mins ago | Angelica Stabile

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is fighting efforts to convict President Trump in the Senate after he was impeached for a second time by the House of Representatives, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., should do the same, Graham told Fox News’ "Hannity" Tuesday.

"What we need right now is Sen. McConnell to unequivocally say the second impeachment of Donald Trump after he leaves office is not only unconstitutional, it is bad for the country," said Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. "Stand up and fight back."

Graham praised McConnell for helping President Trump with "everything that he did" and referred to the majority leader as a legislative "street fighter."

The senator extended his call to all Republican members, emphasizing the alleged unconstitutionality of pursuing a conviction after Trump has left office.

"Our country needs to heal," he said. "A second impeachment of Donald Trump after he leaves office won’t heal the country, it will further divide the country.

"As to the Republican Party, if we throw in the towel, or are perceived to having thrown in the towel, and not fighting against this impeachment, the Republican Party, as Rand Paul said, will ‘crack up.’"

I highly doubt that. Even if he did, it means absolutely NOTHING.

And I don't know how anyone can use a cell phone screen to do stuff on. When I'm on the road and access FR from my iPhone, I've tried to respond to comments, but it's terrible trying to hit the right letters,

Amen to that, bro!

That's what I tried explaining to the cop. I said, "Do you know how tough it is to stay in the same lane when you're typing on your phone with one hand and holding a beer in your other?"

He was not the least bit understanding.

If this is true no such document would be enforceable. Proving duress would be a cakewalk.

Whipsaw Graham. Playing the rubes again. Count on it.

As soon as he dirties in your plate on Monday, he orders in for you on Thursday, sending the finest of dining, on fine china, then kills your dog on Sunday.

Sick of it.

I, Donald Trump, affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is.

I further pledge that I will not run as an independent or write in candidate nor will I accept the nomination for president of any other party

Rather more like a nonbinding pledge than sort of perennial binding deed. 2016 was years ago so it no longer applies. Already voided in 2016 by other candidates who never had any intention of "endorsing the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is."
How do you propose to enforce it; get the FBI to arrest him for lying on a nonbinding form?

[I guess it’s Graham’s turn to play “good cop”.]

No - personally avoid, 6 years later, what just happened to Loeffler and Perdue. If Trump establishes a Patriot Party, the GOP will lose 100% of its seats over the next 6 years. The plutocrats who backed this intraparty coup against Trump will see wealth taxes instituted, and income taxes at 90% levels, since given the split on the right, the left won’t need lefty plutocrat donor money to stay in office. And all the virtue-signaling retards who voted Biden will see their taxes doubled.

Those who invaded congressional chambers were a very small group of unbalanced and unintelligent people from a sea of over 328 million people. Members of Congress and bureaucrats blaming President Trump are either unbalanced, dishonest or unintelligent themselves. They should be ashamed of their exercise in hysteria and selfishness, especially McConnell.

McConnell’s treachery will be one of the main initial motivators behind the Patriot Party.

Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham both are very close to Joe Biden and they guided him in, undermining Trump all along.

You are seeing efforts started in 2016.

"Don’t forget, they made him sign a paper that he would not create a third party."

Why would you repeat that, after I showed you the evidence against it before?

Donald Trump signs pledge not to run as independent
The Guardian
Ben Jacobs and Lauren Gambino
September 3, 2015
“I ______ affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States I will endorse the Republican nominee regardless of who it is. I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

That pledge only applied, if he failed to win the nomination. He won the 2016 nomination, so President Trump can run for the presidency with the Patriot Party or whatever party he chooses.

McConnell and his CCP-controlled Office have
made quite clear that the GOP, having AGAIN
backstabbed and lied to GOP voters, is
loved by the CHinese- and the US-makers of
the China-McConnell-FauXi “novel” Coronavirus-19.
