Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday attacked President Trump over a potential pardon of Sheldon Silver, the corrupt former speaker of the New York Assembly — and suggested it could be “a favor for someone in the Jewish community.”
During a radio interview in Albany, Cuomo called the notion of freeing Silver from prison — where the Manhattan Democrat is serving 6 1/2 years for a $4 million bribery and kickbacks scheme — “just confounding” and the culmination of “four years of bizarre.”
“It’s almost as if he’s trying to purposefully create anarchy and desecrate the entire system on the way out the door…he’s making a mockery of everything,” Cuomo said of Trump granting Silver a pardon.

I’m not in favor of a pardon, but there’s one saving grace of this pardon, if granted. Silver has never and will never put anyone in a wheelchair or in the ground.
Exactly, though Trump may know him from way back. I sure as H-E-double hockey sticks wouldn’t do it.

A Jewish Democratic from New York. And an elected higher up in New York politics. Sounds like a person who helped to get real estate matters accomplished for the movers and shakers of New York. Did DJT have anything to do with New York?

Maybe Silver is trading some dirt on Cuomo for the pardon. We can hope.

what good would that do?? The guy was accused of sexual harassment by a Manhattan assembly woman a month ago- a woman who said it was constantly occurring and she had witnesses.. nothing came of it...

he’s a good man and worked hard for Trump.
