In states like CA where there are open primaries it could be really tough to get anybody elected on a third party ticket in the down-ticket offices. I want to stay with MAGA/patriot people and ideas whether they stay Republican or split off and go 3rd party. My question is how to do it in California?
Please don’t waste time on CA smears, as much as you may enjoy them. This is an earnest question at a serious point in time.
It's been tough in the past to get anyone "3rd" party elected because none of them had someone like Trump leading it. Who has ever had as much popularity as Trump...as a President...leave their political party and start a new one? Couple that with palatable hatred for the party he would leave?
We are in uncharted territory in many ways.
The new party would instantaneously have 10's of millions of registered voters. Unprecedented.

The problem is not open primaries but the weird top two finishers rule in California so that you have two democrats running against each other.
Honestly, if I lived in California, I’d register as a democrat and run as a “Conservative democrat” but wear a dress, wig and high heels to make me immune to critics, couching my conservative positions in liberal pyscho-babble. But that is just me.
My wife and I are second-generation Californians. We’re moving to Texas this year.
Sadly, California is a lost cause. It breaks my heart, but it’s time to face facts.
Hunt down the ballot stuffers and cheaters and try them, convict them, then execute them for sedition.
Once the theft in the big cities is nullified, the vote will be fair and honest.
