Trump’s Next Move…The “Patriot Party”
We are the movement…it’s only just beginning…
President Trump has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party, according to people familiar with the matter, an effort to exert continued influence after he leaves the White House.
Mr. Trump discussed the matter with several aides and other people close to him last week, the people said. The president said he would want to call the new party the “Patriot Party,” the people said.
Mr. Trump has feuded in recent days with several Republican leaders including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), who on Tuesday said Mr. Trump deserved blame for provoking the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol. Polls show Mr. Trump retains strong support among rank-and-file GOP voters.
The White House declined to comment.
I agree. Patriot, unfortunately, is not a good name anymore.
In states like CA where there are open primaries it could be really tough to get anybody elected on a third party ticket in the down-ticket offices. I want to stay with MAGA/patriot people and ideas whether they stay Republican or split off and go 3rd party. My question is how to do it in California?
Please don’t waste time on CA smears, as much as you may enjoy them. This is an earnest question at a serious point in time.
Once the new party is established, we should have a big event where we burn our voter registration cards. Just might confuse enough aging hippies that they join by accident.
Great suggestion as well. Whatever Trump does call it, I'm in as I'm so beyond done voting for the "lessor of two evils."
That assumes we clean up our states so we can have an actual fair election in 2022.
Our votes need to matter again and that starts locally.

They don't claim to have this kind of insider info. Had you read the article on the site, you would have seen that they linked to this story on the Wall Street Journal.
They're basically like a new Drudge site that puts together the headlines that conservatives and "populists" would like to read.

I like your idea about caucusing with Republicans. This gives some politicians who would want to move toward us a way to do so. Also, this looks dignified and thoughtful. Others would want to paint this as a movement of sore losers who worship Trump, but this reminds them that this is not a cult of personality, but a reforming movement to restore the best of our heritage of freedom and opportunity.

Why are you pointing to us as the problem? The problem is with the GOP and it is not repairable. Didn't you just see what happened since the stolen election? Open your eyes and stop being a Whig. There is no fix for the GOP, it is time you realized that.
Has anyone researched how Trump has handled previous situations where he got screwed? I’m betting it did not end well for the screwers.
